I think we might squeak something from this game. Keep it as tight as a knat’s chuff, don’t concede early, hang in there and hope we get a gift. I’m hopeful of a narrow victory but I reckon it will have to be ugly. Ugly is beautiful.

That 6/5 on Bristol looks pretty generous but I bet you can't get that now. It's moved out! Bill Hills 29/20.

Will this now be on iFollow as not a Saturday game? It’s on iFollow but you have to pay for it. Has The Red Button supremo drumriggend confirmed this for us yet?

Amazing how many injuries Ward has had.
So we are looking at:
Schofield Pipa keogh Sarr Toffolo Vallejo O’Brien Bacuna Mbenza Campbell Aarons
The same team as last week but with Mbenza for Ward.
The bench will probably have experience of less than 10 starting appearances for us put together. There will be literally no player on it who can change the game.
I’d like to be optimistic but I sense a 4-0 drubbing.

No Pritchard and Ward tomorrow 🤦🤦 Recruitment team strike again. It's poor isn't it ? Whether Pritchard feels a tinge of guilt collecting his thousands each bloody week or is just laughing all the way to the bank I've no idea. And whoever gave Danny Ward a THREE YEAR contract has a lot of explaining to do. Absolute madness.

What on earth is up with Ward now??
I was one who thought it was a decent signing at the time. Couldn't have been more wrong. The lad'll never complete a full 90 minutes with us.
Got his move back to West Yorkshire so he could live with the wife and kids and now is injured more than ever.

Do CC’s comments about the strength of Bristol’s squad and the number of quality strikers they possess seem a little...pointed? Or am I imagining things?

We never win here, although I've been twice and we've won both but the other 50 visits we've had not much joy. After last night's debacle you can only see a comfortable home win, we look toothless, short on ideas and lack any guile to change it. Including cup-ties 9 wins, 8 draws, 13 defeats, so until the last few years, a visit to Ashton Gate was nothing to fear. Indeed it didn't seem out of the ordinary in 2013 when Vaughan's hat-trick there sent them down and would have meant we were mathematically safe had Hull and Wednesday not fucked up at Barnsley and Peterborough on the same day. Our home record against them is W17 D3 L10.

I really liked this pearl of wisdom from Carlos;
“It's always important to add points, especially three if you can or if not then one.”

My only visit was a 2-1 win featuring the only goal Barry Horne scored for us, although we scored from a rebound at Crewe when he hit the post. If you'd said 50 games at Derby, Preston and Middlesbrough, (and we still have to visit all three), it might not have been an exaggeration.
