Great stuff. Our track record of gambling on young, foreign talent with huge potential means this cannot go wrong in any way.
I can see the press conference now...

Christian Walton Brighton Keeper,6'5" out of contract June 30th. Rated £720k on transfer market. England under 19,20,21's 25 years old is rumoured to be one of the 4 new signings that are already done ! ?

My predictions for the 4 players we've signed are.
Rhodes (been done for a while if rumours are to be believed)
Kayden Jackson (free agent soon that we supposedly tried to sign in January)
Nyland (one signed is apparently a keeper so he seems the best option of the free agents, unless Norwich extends it)
Guiness-Walker (Linked in January, need full back cover & supposedly out of contract soon)
Obviously I have no inside knowledge so just speculating & working off Maynards snippets of info.

Be very happy with nyland a fair few times for villa ,looked good from what I saw be decent for this level.

I would presume one of those is Eiting (or at least close to). Otherwise why else did we keep him around/at the club only to make two cameos? He was never going to return to have a big impact in time.

If Eiting was one of the 4 already done deals surely they could have announced it by now? I can understand them not announcing the others yet because they're probably still playing for their other clubs but Eiting is already here. They're trying to sell season cards.

Unless they're involved in playoff campaigns or in the PL 1st team squads, they're not still playing for their clubs though, surely? Also worth noting that clubs may wish to keep deals under wraps for a number of reasons. Partly, they may still be under contract at their previous club (until 1st June). It might be that the club they're currently contracted to wants to keep their cards close to their chest due to ongoing negotiations for incoming/outgoing players of their own. I wonder as well if a large part of the delay comes from wanting to maximise engagement. It's not yet 24 hours since the season finished. Announcing all the deals now would mean there may be a long period of silence once all the deals were done. Maybe none of the 4 deals concluded so far are marquee signings. Imagine the reaction if the 4 signings are a backup goalkeeper, a couple of backup fullbacks and another "project player" from non-league. "I'm not getting my season card if that's the quality we can expect" may well be the reaction - even if they later prove to be decent (if unspectacular) signings.

If they are league 1 players involved their season finished about 30 mins ago. I wouldn't expect an announcement on the full-time whistle but possibly in the next couple of days. Like I say, if Eiting is one of the done deals it wouldn't really affect Ajax if it was already announced & it would show a statement of intent in the transfer window for supporters sat on the fence whether to get a season card or not?

It's worked well for us recently with Grant & Toffolo, also bringing in Koroma from league 2.

Links breaking from a reputable journalist in South America, that Town are set to sign striker, Lazaro from Flamengo. 19yr old former Brazilian U17 International who has yet to make a senior breakthrough. Appeared twice I think. hes going to love the life change, seeing the grey skies and the rain, and seeing all the empty shops in Huddersfield. I have always thought Brentford can sign all these up and coming lads because of the chance to Live in London, and be put in the shop window for bigger clubs down there . also the chance to pop round to the Queens house for tea , and only 5 minutes on the tube to the Big City. Have you been to Rio? I have it's an absolute s@#t tip.

Town should have got England international Ollie Watkins when they had the chance. I'm sure fans of most Championship & even the Premier league teams would say the same tbf.

It's worked well for us recently with Grant & Toffolo, also bringing in Koroma from league 2 National League. Corrected. Josh Koroma has never played in Lg2. We signed him at the end of Leyton Orient's promotion season though so I suppose you could argue that he was signed from league 2, in the same way you could if we bought somebody from (e.g.) Sutton Utd* this summer. WRT Eiting or other signings, I too would prefer that signings were made early (so that they're in situ before preseason training) and announced early (for season ticket sales as you rightly point out). I can just see reasons why the club might not want to &/or might not be able to. *As an aside, I have no idea whether Sutton Utd have anyone worth signing.

Wonder if Niasse is one of the four? I heard that he may have retired from football. Wasn't a genuine source but was connected to Everton.

Chris Maxwell wins the Golden Glove in League One. If Blackpool don’t go up, he’d be a great signing.

I thought Bannan just signed a new contract. If so, the Massive would demand a fee for him which, I imagine would be rather significant. But I must say, he was a cut above the rest in the Derby game. On the other hand, I thought Westwood was barely average at best and this is from someone who admired him in the past.
