The football never got any better I don’t disagree with you but I don’t really care. Some of the worst football I’ve seen from Town in the last 30 years was 1993-95 but the manager then has become a legend at the club. That's true enough, it was dire at times then. The Rons aren't fit to lace Colins boots though

I wonder how much more progress the Cowleys would have managed to achieve with a considerably weakened squad. No Mounie, Grant or ESR to rely on this season. I think the Cowley's would have had Huddersfield considerably higher in the league than we are now. My reasoning is the Cowley's knew how to organise and set up a team so that a team would not concede soft goals and would be difficult to break down. I think it is a false narrative that if a team is good defensively then they are not good at attacking or a team can attack but can't defend. I reject this. I watched the Cowley's bring their Lincoln team to play Jan Siewerts Town. They did not play long ball football. The systematically broke Huddersfield down in every single department and look a superior side in every aspect of the game. The Cowley's did what was required last season, to get a team that had 1pt from 9 games to survive relegation. Something that had never been done before. Town would have a clear game plan, be hard to beat and would win their fair share of games even with the present team under the Cowley's. That is just my personal opinion and is simply a hypothetical. The bottom line is we'll never know. What I do know know is that alot of the players that were key to their success are now gone. They would be batting with one hand tied behind their back just like Corberan.

They’d have said what was needed and if they hadn’t received sufficient backing, they’d have left.

I just had a troll through some old posts when it was becoming obvious that our stay in the Premiership was at risk. What do you think I found?
A number of posters who thought that the concerns that were being raised were by people throwing their rattles out of the pram. Apparently you cant be a fan and make a comment about the failings you see in the management of the club, or the quality on the pitch.
I assume that they may feel like Trump supporters who believed his twitter comments and thought that it was a good idea to march on congress.
