Can we let go of this Nottingham-drama, it’s getting cringey now.
Yes, some of their fans were twats for parts of last season, but let’s be honest some of our fans were too. Yes the ref were horrendous and we have the right to feel hard done by, but surely that’s not nottinghams fault, and regardless there is nothing we can do about it now anyway, the sooner we move on the better.
The more money we can get from O’Brien and Toffolo the better, if that means that they are off to Nottingham or Leeds so be it.
Maybe the money we get won’t be reinvested but in that case at least we are closer to being debt free so Hoyle can move the club on.

I'd be happy to sign all three of them but I doubt they'd all be regular starters. Colwill definitely wouldn't be as we're also on the verge of signing the Mainz captain Niakhate.

No problem with Forest at all - it seems like some of us have let a few Twitter wums get us all riled - the fans I met on the day were all good folk - their lot were right up for it and completely out-noised us - good luck to 'em. Be annoyed with the spineless Tierney, fair enough - but can't really see what Forest have done wrong. If Toffolo and O'Brien end up there then I want them to do well in the Prem - both have been really top players for us and great characters too. Footballers come and go, but the club remains as do the fans. Hopefully this is sorted soon then we know where we are.

Personally disagree, hope they go down with a record low total after the lack of class they’ve shown since the final

Lots of pathetic, salty fans on here.
To the victor go the spoils - at least £180m in this case.
They could buy every player, every inch of land and every blade of grass we own and still have well over £100m in the bank.
I don’t remember Reading acting this shitty to us. Good luck to them, it’s in every Championship club’s interests to see promoted clubs hold their own.

Personally I can only wish all the best for Toffs and O'Brien no matter which club they go to assuming they do not stay here. Both guys have given their all for the shirt and fans and deserve a shot at the Prem. A move may be their only chance to play at a higher level and get get the salary to set them up for life, so who could blame them ? As to this ongoing griping about Forest, its time to let it drop, granted it was a lousy way to lose a play-off but you cannot blame Forest for the awful officials on the day. Of course some Forest WUMS will be out in force but can we honestly say some our fans would not be doing exactly the same if we had won. My biggest sorrow on the day was for the team not us fans or the club, many of those players may never get another shot at the prem and to lose out due to crap officials must have been fking lousy, okay we might not have scored the pens or won anyway but to be denied by awful officials will stick in the craw of those players for the rest of their careers.

Looking forward to them getting a taste of their own medicine next season, if that means I’ve no class then I’ll happily take that.

I was at Wembley and the vast majority of the time it was very good natured between the fans. Both on the tube and down Wembley way.

Is this a personal experience you've had? I was at Wembley and the vast majority of the time it was very good natured between the fans. Both on the tube and down Wembley way. Had a very different experience myself, both in person and on social media. I got chatting to a fan who came down on the train full of Forest fans and they were giving him horrific abuse for just being a town fan on the same train. One offered him a seat and as soon as he sat down asked him what he was doing and he should f*ck off now. As for on social media, I’ve not seen anything like it - worse than Leeds. Even yourself for example, come on a rivals board and start bragging about how there were 3k Forest fans in our end. Not quite sure what the need is to be honest.

Seems like this is just a Nixon rumour at the moment, a day later and it doesn’t appear to being pushed by anyone else. So possibly not something to take too seriously for the time being.

And by top level, I mean playing for a team competing in or for the top 6. He’s a level above you, without being disrespectful and you aren’t getting him unless it’s a loan and/or Chelsea are stupid. He’s minimum a £15m player and as much as you want, you can’t be spending a quarter to a third of your budget on a CB when you need so many players.

It’s all done and dusted, i don’t understand why it’s not been announced. Maybe we don’t want MK Dons and Wimbledon knowing we have 10 million quid.

I’d be surprised if we’ve got O’Brien for the first few days of preseason if he’s a Forest player 🤔

That’s not unusual, to have our players lined up to buy before we make it public we have money.

Its hard to draw any conclusions.

you would think some kind of financial common sense would remain after promotion to the premier league. Forest look to be gambling to whole shebang going up.
Bizarre.
