I went to that one too, think David Beresford scored our consolation. I'm also sure I went on another Easter Monday for a 2-0 defeat. Lost 2-0 there on 8th April 1996. Thats the one. And the final time I went to Norwich it resulted in a 3-0 defeat!! So I've been 5 times and seen us concede 15 scoring only 2, the best result I've seen at Carrow Road is a 1-1 draw.

Every time there is a Norwich thread it always reminds me of the time Duncan Shearer scored at Norwich, scored at the opposite end to us, we were in the corner and couldn’t see a thing, we only knew he scored when he ran closer to us with his arm in the air. It was at our end but the dense netting and fencing separating home s and away supporters meant we couldn’t see it had gone in until he came over to celebrate. Should have won that day but they got a late equaliser and outclassed us in the replay.

Very difficult match. Not easy against these teams that come down awash with Premier League cash.

Should have won that day but they got a late equaliser and outclassed us in the replay. Sent this to my brother who went that day with Hypotenuse, he said it was some of the wildest leaping he had been involved in. Wayne Biggens left pitch in reply before he got a hiding from the crowd for a terrible foul.

Because it being on a bank holiday Monday means it's not classed as a weekend game. It's also not a scheduled midweek round. It's a bank holiday round. Same as in the PL where they have bank holiday TV packages for broadcasters to bid for, that don't come under the weekend or midweek packs. Be grateful it's on Sky otherwise nobody would be able to see it (barring searching for a free stream), same as on a normal weekend when we're away. Anyway, in terms of the game itself, I'd absolutely snap your hand off if you offered me a point in this game. We have nothing to lose as nobody will expect anything other than a comfortable home win. Dodgy stream for me then. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)

I can see a few changes tomorrow. Pipa and Vallejo out, chance to rest players like Campbell, Sarr even OBrien possibly.
Schofield Stearman. Keogh. Reg. Duhaney. Hogg. High. Bacuna. Rowe. Ward. Sonogo.
Pereira. Sarr. Thomas. Mbenza. Holmes. Phillips. Daly. OBrien. Brown.
Anything out of this game is a bonus but Rotherham on Saturday is the more important game of the two.

With the Pipa and Vallejo news we could either treat it as a free hit or just try and shithouse a 0-0. Hope they're both back on Saturday.
Schofield REG Keogh Sarr Duhaney Holmes Hogg LOB Rowe Mbenza Sanogo
would be my lineup

Schofield REG Keogh Sarr Duhaney Holmes Hogg LOB Rowe Mbenza Sanogo would be my lineup The loss of Pipa based on the fact he’s having to play on the wrong side is not a big one in my opinion. He’s no where near as effective on the left ( not his fault of course) I’m not agreeing with this “free hit” business. I think it’s a game we can win if everything clicks on the night.

Shouldn't have lost the return fixture, if the ref hadn't allowed that twat to punch Stearman into concussion without punishment.

If we play as we did against Brentford we could get a result. It was a concentration lapse that allowed them to score and we had chances. Norwich are pretty solid though so a point would be great. Unbeaten run extended to 6 prior to the Rotherham game I would be happy with. I have honestly forgotten what it is like not being in a relegation fight. It is probably more to do with old man short term memory issues than Town but it would be so nice to be looking at results above us rather than below (unless we were top of course ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) )

Norwich are top but in a difficult league they have been marginally better in the games I've seen. They are not outstanding and as we have everything to play for I think as long as we compete then it shouldn't be any harder to get a result than the last 5 games. We can play with more adventure, but Carlos might go 5 at back and go for a bore draw, which would be a bad idea as they have a lot of fairies in their team. Get them hit hard get at them they'll crumble and we'll do a Sheff Wed Cardiff on them.

We'd all be happy with a point, Carrow Road is another barren wasteland for us, there seems to be a lot of those, a point will do.

5 games unbeaten. Threats in the team with a good bench.
It’s an away win for me and I’ve a feeling it’s going to be a great game on Sky.

Just don’t get how people can be so defeatist.
Previous results at Carrow Road have absolutely no relevance - different times, different personnel involved.
On top of this, no home fans, so why the hell can’t we win this one.

Will be even more impressive if he can score .
A point would be solid gold
