Indian SA and other variants in their pockets ready to roll out for the autumn and guess what your two jabs won’t give you any protection (allegedly) so watch those cases rise once more ...don’t expect to attend many games the next tier system restrictions and then lockdown in project fear is coming So much for the positive approach...

He announced there are now 25 people in Bolton Hospital with Covid. "The majority are unvaccinated". ^^That tells you all you need to know...there is still currently no reason to delay returning to normal.

Got them. 3 to be precise and I'm giving Carlos a clean slate. Alot of shite released and he's a chance to bring his own in properly now, so he's got my vote after me saying get rid. Could be a good season depending on the recruitment. UTT

If they don't let crowds in next season the whole football pyramid will be closing down totally in Britain, no club can carry on like this.
Incidentally I received a letter from the club, I assume because I haven't renewed as yet, they must be sweating a bit on sales if they had to do that.

I feel we will sell around 10,000/12,000 which in the current circumstances would be a reasonable number. The signing of the Luton guy sounds promising as he seems the sort of guy who will get stuck in and pretty much do what Carlos wants him to do. Just seems to want to play footy. I think a lot of people will pay on a game by game basis depending on how we are doing/opposition which is what really happened before cut price season tickets came along.

The cost of admission on matchdays will have a bearing on how many folk will walk up and pay, If its £20 on at the gate we might get a few, But if its £25+ i think lots will say its just too much.

You are probably right but I hope it will be a lot more. Be a shame to have a half empty stadium again - back to where we were years ago and after all the hard work put in by the Cowshed loyal to improve the atmosphere.

Or maybe they've been on places like here and seen there are some supporters who seem to constantly be saying they're waiting for a renewal letter before deciding to renew? And sweep up a few of the non-connected folk in amongst whilst they're at it.

I find it strange too. Maybe they should have an option to opt out of postal marketing just like they do with email?

They get clobbered for not communicating and clobbered when they do.

Of course, its not strange that they're doing it per se. I mean for me personally I find it strange, as like Christ in Shades (art), whether I renew or not will not in any way be affected by me receiving a letter or not! FWIW, I have opted out of receiving mail from the club historically but it only seems to stick for a year to 18 months before someone resets the flag, even though thats punishable by a monetary fine from the ICO.
