Didn’t see that coming. In case I missed it. Probably a good move for him. Somebody must be lined up to come in

You're aware we released him a few months ago and have signed Ruffels, a replacement cover left back?

He was crap and seemed to get worse with age... His replacement is much closer to Toffs ability

Absolute madness unless they've got him for £500 a week and plan on using him only in emergencies

Just seen this on their forum. Whoever employs that scout needs to find a new one sharpish. You'd think they've just signed the next Ben Chilwell
"Just spoken to a scout i know who has watched Jaden Brown on many occasions. Says he is very tactically aware, reads game well, solid defensively in a back 4, good at going forward but final ball needs some work on it. Very good signing for League One and certainly the type of player who will improve SWFC left hand side. Asked him about a Brown, Shodipo partnership and his word "lightning"."

I thought he did OK when he first came in. Not a Carlos type of player it would appear but that doesn’t make him a bad player. Good luck to him.

See how he does in a different system. Good luck to the lad. Surprised he stayed up north.

He never recovered from getting sent off after coming on as a sub. Before that match he had got some game time, after that very little.

He was decent enough under difficult circumstances for a spell under the Cowleys. No surprise he didn't look as good in a system that puts such high demands on its full backs. I got the impression last season that he was trying too hard on the occasions he did get a chance- there was a 10 minute spell against Plymouth where he was everywhere, with all over the place being a better description after that. Similarly that red card after getting subbed on to me showed someone overeager to get stuck in. A surprisingly smart signing from Sheff Weds, I don't see why he can't become a decent 2nd tier player one day, just wasn't going to be with us without putting more faith in him than his performances had merited.

Good luck to the lad. He just couldn't seem to find any form after his injury.

Fell apart for him after that but with the right club, he could well turn into a decent player.

Looked okay when the Cowleys first came in and was part of a steady back 4 for a short spell. They actually put a round peg in a round hole. Carlos clearly didn't rate him but surely a recognised LB would have been better than O'Brien out of position.
Anyway, should send this to the wendies. Fast forward to 33:50 (it will show 19:00mins on the game clock)

I will be interested to see how he develops if he gets a decent run of games with the Wendies.

I have nothing against the lad at all, came in, tried hard, never worked out for him. I feel a lot more comfortable with Ruffels than I do with Brown at LB though. Wish him all the best.
