and how do you know he's not on our radar?
It would appear that he's only played professionally for three seasons and despite a stellar season in 19/20 he was hardly prolific last. Maybe at 26, £400k is too much of gamble on someone plying their trade in the Armenian 1st Division.

and why are we not in for Kone He does not qualify for a UK work permit. I figured that...i just saw the goals and saw how quick and skilful he was so googled him. The standard at the top of the Armenian and Hungarian leagues is probably akin to bottom of the Championship....thats Town.

As a resident of Budapest until recently, and a sometime attendee at Hungarian top flight matches, I can tell you that the standard is very very poor. Nowhere near championship standard, bottom or otherwise, in my view. No idea about the Armenian league, though I can’t imagine it’s any better.

Thanks, my friends tell me the same thing but arent Videoton on the up this last two years....heard they got a new wealthy owner? Same in Poland....standard fallen drastically the last 5 years...all the best players leave and all the clubs are skint. By the way, did you see any Town games last year? It was Div 1 at best.

Yup, and looking at UEFA club co-efficients of the last few years, the Armenian league is considerably below the quality of the (poor) Hungarian or Polish top flights. Probably more akin to Malta, Luxembourg or the Welsh league in reality, so broadly equivalent to the National League in England.
