He’s not. DS is petrified of another loss. Doesn’t want to start or have a player that’s never played as even a sub, to be relied upon for Town. Proves he’s no bottle at all and that’s his downfall and what will eventually lead to him getting shifted. I’ve nowt against DS, he shouldn’t really be in this position right now but why not try something you haven’t already? Koroma should be dropped simple as that and Grant is good enough for Town as we will come to see, he’s certainly better than a few in that squad anyway. Lose today and if he’s not on the bench at least Tuesday, DS has lost the plot

Ha, it seems like the only obvious explanation. Or, at least, someone obviously doesn't rate him ... not exactly like we've started the season with wide players tearing it up!

The persistence with Koroma is the maddest thing for me. Rowe also cast aside (he is fit and not injured). Hopefully Grant can get out on loan until January.

Seems like a loan is the best thing for the lad, if we have no intention of playing him nor developing him, it’s best he’s given an opportunity elsewhere. Koroma needs to go to another club too, he is truly awful now.

The Rowe situation is just weird 🤷♂️
I think it shows the pressure DS feels he’s under in not giving Grant any minutes. Ironically, I’m sure fans would cut him a lot of slack if he did give some youngsters a chance where the established player ahead of them isn’t producing.

However on the first half showing today, Thomas is just as bad on the left wing in open play.

Slight exaggeration I know but doesn’t seem to have recovered from that performance.

We do and will. I’m guessing it’s tongue in cheek. Swap him for a spot on the bench with JK. Get that lad off somewhere before deadline

really hope he gets his chance with town. If he can't get minutes when we're 3 nil down in the cup when we can make 5 substitutions then I don't know how he'll get a game? Shame if he doesn't, that's just my opinion though, sure a few other posters on here would like to see him have a chance.

I've racked my brain trying to think why Koroma is being picked ahead of so many other options and couldn't think of any, but this makes sense. I expect that if he's still here after the window closes then others - whether that's Grant, Mahoney, Rowe or Jones - will be pushed up the pecking order.

I don’t like to just criticise our players but Koroma has contributed very little for a long time now. It’s been a long time since he’s performed as well as Thomas did on Saturday (accepting Thomas was maybe a 6.5 out of 10!). Koroma needs to move on for everyone’s sake.

I must have blinked and missed that because I saw him do neither, he either ran in to trouble or was tackled or misplaced a pass, he's trying though. He seems totally out of form and confidence to me, I even remarked to my mate on Saturday that he looked to be both. Its a strange one to be fair but I did think he was a bit better 2nd half.

He put in a corner that went across the six yard box, had Rudoni attacked it at the far post it was a goal. He put a floated left foot cross that led to Ward winning a couple of headers and Tino having an overhead kick blocked. He whipped a great ball in that was headed away at full stretch by Flint, with Ward waiting for a free header at the far post. Beat the right back probably 4/5 times. All in the first half. Koroma hasn't done all that in any half since he came back from that hamstring injury. Doubt he's been that productive this calendar year to be honest, some of his contributions this season have been amateur.
