Out dated in my opinion I would always go from front to back in squad building decisions.
Who's going to score goals from open play? Off the ball movement? Do we have a viable target man option and pace option up front?
Who's going to create from midfield- goal score from midfield?
Wide options - pace/cross/cut inside/score
Corners and free kicks? How are we planning to be a threat from throw-in?
Quiet concerned at the moment and not seeing much of a plan so far 😕

Might be an idea to see a league match or two before offering an opinion.

Mind it's a pretty disjointed post, and I'm 100% sure they don't mean "quiet concerned". shh before I get accused of being grammar police.

Always build back to front, and last season highlighted that. If you stay strong at the back it gives the front players more confidence as they are not under pressure constantly chasing the game. Also if you get a goal, and can defend well, it makes the opposition commit more and leaves more openings. Always back to front for me but all areas are important.

Get the point first.

We had literally the worst defence in the league last season.More due to strength in depth probably than anything else.Would seem we have addressed that. Some saying it’s criminal haven’t signed a creative midfielder,I would suggest it would have been more criminal to not strengthen what was statistically the worst element of the team last season.

Re building from the back
Surely it depend what players you have at your disposal
Carlos wants to build from the back
We started well last year but became obvious and then failed miserably at it causing ourselves more problems. Aside from Colwill we haven’t recruited players to play from the back - not ideal!
If Colwill doesn’t start no point playing from the back
Can Carlos play another way?
Thankfully we have an easy few games to start / iron out any problems
