When the fixtures came out I thought we had a pretty tough looking start. Derby aside, they all looked very losable. Fulham were obviously going to be right up there come may and I expected Sheff Utd to be strong. We always seem to lose to Preston and Reading were strong last season. We've probably got 7 or 8 points more than I thought we would.
I certainly hope Carlos is aiming for top 6. Not saying we're quite good enough for that but it should definitely be the aim.

It's nice to be at the top end of the table for a change. 10 points on the board after those fixtures is a great start. If we manage to be on about 35 to 40 points at the halfway point I'll start hoping for higher than mid table.

After the past few miserable years it is great to feel excited about our team again.
Defining game for the Wagner regime was the home loss against Middlesbrough - brilliant performance despite the loss.
Defining game for the Carlos regime, the home defeat against Everton???
There are similarities.

We always seem to lose to Preston I'm beginning to understand the "The majority of Town fans have developed a sense of entitlement..." type comments a bit more now. You must live in an pararall unverse where Town fans feel entitled and Town always lose to Preston. In the universe I occupy, at home we've lost One in Nine to them.
