Did anyone see who the injured players were? I saw Carlos said they picked up knocks but not sure on severity.

Never an easy game, but hopefully they’ll stick to the same mentality and come up with a win, 1-0, 3-0, don’t really care. There’s as much confidence in a clean sheet 1-0 win as there is in a 5-1 for me.
Getting closer to the 10 game mark, but not getting ahead of ourselves is the way to go.
UTT!!!

13/2 to score anytime with Skybet. I’ll be surprised if 11/1 is offered anytime soon after his recent goals. Who’s our penalty taker now? Just got him at 11/1 on Betfair. If you've missed the earlier discussion they're discussing Pearson. 12/1 with Bet365 (and void option if he doesn't start). Given Sorba & Sinani's dead-ball quality, I have to agree that's a great price. Lees at 14 & Nabby at 12 also seem reasonable (no doubt I've picked the wrong one).

Get at them quickly, win a corner and score early from the set piece. Keep the ball and move them around and up and down the grass. The game will be there to put to bed in the second half. UTT

On the betting,im sure plenty of outsiders will be looking at this and thinking Town look value at 6/5ish.I think as a fan of a club you can't really give an objective view when it comes to betting on a match involving your own team.

It'll be interesting to see the side he picks for today. Part of me wouldn't change a winning side/formation after a 3-0 away win, but then you do need to rotate if you're going to avoid injuries & have other players ready to step in when needed.
Strong argument for keeping side as is, but also a strong one for 4-3-3, a strong one for bringing Sarr's physical ability back in... etc.
I could predict the side he puts out & be miles off what is actually picked, and both sides would be decent. The old cliche of it being a nice problem to have.

Well having had this down as a 3-0 Town win, the sacking of Hughton coupled with a truly awful record for HTAFC when we have come up against teams who’ve sacked their managers in the week we’re due to play them, has made me reconsider.
Have toyed with 3-1, 3-2, 1-0, but have settled on HUDDERSFIELD TOWN 2 v NOTTINGHAM FOREST 1...
I think they will get the inevitable reaction, but we’ll still have enough for three valuable points.
Anyway... stunning views from the front window on this beautiful day in The West Island, whisky in one hand , Lager n’ Lime in the other... birds fed and munching as quickly as I’m boozing... great music from The good old 60’s on pick of the pops..
Life’s good... will of course be better if Huddersfield Town scythe down and make sawdust of The Tricky Trees.. (Hopefully make them feel like The Sicky Trees) !!!

A poster just mentioned above about breaking down teams that we massively can up short trying to do so last season with no creativity or muscle. Also above was mentioned our new found ability from set pieces and how teams, whilst trying to keep out the opposition, give away free kicks where we can exploit them so this way of playing by the opposition dosent bother me anymore. 3-1 town Oh how I’d love an absolute thrashing! Growing up in Grantham Dow the A52 from Nottingham there chirp could be heard of how massive they are. I was there for the 6-1 too in 2013. Cmon town let’s showcase what we can really do I was there for the 6-1 also, it was my daughters 1st away game!!. Was it mark robins 1st game? Or 1st away game?

Biggest worry for me today is that everyone.. media, bookies and fans think we're gonna roll them over.
They've just sacked their manager which can always stir a reaction so I don't think its gonna be as easy as we think.
Add the fact that Danny Ward starts again.. really hope I'm proved wrong but I'm going with 1-1.

I have a natural worry towards us starting an unchanged side after what it led to injury-wise and rotation-wise last season, but that is clearly our best eleven. Harsh on High to be out of the squad altogether again, surprised Carlos has gone for both Campbell and Mipo on the bench when Aarons was reported as being back fit.
Looks like Forest are trying to match us with a back 3 and wing backs, 2 defensive midfielders. Their front 3 would be threatening if they were all on form. I suspect it'll be another one where if we go in at half time at 0-0 or better, we'll cruise to a win in the second half. I don't like expecting that though so my instinct is saying we'll lose, perhaps as a pre-emptive coping mechanism

The old cliche of it being a nice problem to have. What's the strong argument for 4-3-3? Who's going to play right-back? 1) Rotation of players to avoid injury & keep fringe players fresh. 2) Alternating systems to keep opponents guessing (343, 352 & 433 have all reportedly been practiced in training) 3) 3-4-3 tends to put attacking emphasis down the flanks & the Tricky Twigs seem defensively weaker centrally. As for RB, the options are Turton & Pearson. TBF I'm not convinced Turton is an upgrade on Duhaney, but the club obviously don't agree because they signed him. Or Pearson, with Lees & Colwill or Sarr alongside centrally would be defensively solid. Wouldn't offer much going forward, admittedly, but it would give Sorba Thomas more licence to bomb on as a winger rather than as wing-back. Either way, I'm happy with what he's picked. Ward aside it's our best XI IMO.
