Anyone got any good parking spots they wish to share ? Few years since I've driven - coming up on train from London Saturday, but I always found those one way roads off Dallow Road ok e.g. Ferndale Road You coming up from London as in getting the train to London and then getting train to Luton, or are you down in London for a reason anyway.

Are Luton on their new stadium now ? That old one was the pits, surrounded by semi derelect housing. As for Saturday...if Luton are launching an arial bombardment I'm confident Sarr, Pearson and Lees are up for it...but the key will be for us to retain possession in midfield and up front and not allow them to lauch a continuous barrage .Probably better with Hogg back than Sinani but alongside Vallejo and O'Brien

Stodgy affair with no space to play our passing game. They'll close us down and press us hard. Probably as difficult as Tuesday night. I'd take a draw. Why no space, because of how they set up? Doesn't being closed down and hard-pressed encourage passing and exploiting the gaps left behind?

Driving down VERY early, & staying overnight. Going over to Kings X for a few bevvies before getting train up rather than drink in Luton.

Doesn't being closed down and hard-pressed encourage passing and exploiting the gaps left behind? As Forest played. Frustrate us to hell. It was such an open game on Tuesday that we passed at will through the middle... see Lee's sublime pass for the third goal. The good thing is that they won 5-0 last night so they may open up and try and play.

If we'd defended like that Steve Chicken would be in A&E.

As others have noticed. I’ve just watched the Luton v Coventry highlights. Questionable penalty followed by absolutely woeful Coventry defending for every single goal.

Worst place I have ever been (to watch Town). I even enjoyed the drenching in the Shrewsbury goat shed than I did the away day to Luton. Shrewsbury goat shed ! Pure brilliant name for an old terrace... The famous Cowshed is obviously the best well known, however my favourite Highland League team Clachnacuddin had a terrace called The Wineshed - a classy reference also - and I hope to visit it for their match v Fort William on 9/10/2021, it’s still there but partly re-roofed and of course sneak in some booze... (maybe some buckfast as it could be The Tonic Wineshed with it’s new roof) ! But The goat shed... that’s a new name in my footy terrace vocabulary - some of the natives around these shores here may suggest that it was frequented by Freemasons - as that’s the nickname some here give to that organisation ! Next time I see one in the pub (we all know each other here) I’ll need to ask him if he ever went to a football match at The Shrewsbury Goat Shed !!!

I thought the away end at Brentford had a funny name "The Wendy House" i thought it was the best away day in London, don't know about the new stadium.

I’ve previously referred to Hillsborough on DATM as The Wendy House and the team that play there as The Wendy’s - after all they played like a bunch of lassie’s last season - and hopefully a few more !

I do not believe its actually called that, I just selected that name myself. The roof had so many holes in it, it was pouring through and onto my head. Still better than Luton though.

That day in Shrewsbury was so wet, the man in the coracle was helping with throw ins. But the worst weather I remember was one far gone season at Port Vale due to snow. 3 inch of snow on everyone's head in the open end.

Sending off Toffolo but only giving Dewsbury Hall a yellow card for a very similar offence. Unfortunately, it's the same referee tomorrow as last season. Mind you, the ref the year before wasn't much better, giving them an incredibly soft penalty and then not stopping play when Jonathan Hogg was down with a head injury, during which they scored what proved to be the winning goal.

Yep.. this current lot ain’t been the best to Huddersfield Town for sure... not sure why and certainly not looking for any favours, but certainly not wanting to be cheated outta what’s ours - free kicks, penalties etc - at the expense of others be that West Brom, Luton size club, or a so called small team like Blackpool.. Just play the game by the rules - simplify them, stop tinkering, - and apply them fair and square across the division... Ah well.. best go and dream and wake up and munch ma cornflakes !

WestIsland, I suspect Luton is a far cry from the beautiful Island you live on. In fact, it’s difficult to think of a bigger contrast.
