I’ve heard something similar. It’s absolute bollocks though. Chuff me I’ve been in 3 sides at bellend road. Parking for away fans' coaches, or some other bullshit, I seem to recall.

The South Stand is wank guys. No offensive to anyone who's got it going but we don't even have half of it, and you can't see anything in the second half which in general is the main half for drama, the half where you want to attack the home end. I'm on the verge of going bank to the Kilner to be honest. Or, they could add in a totaly new stand at the North stand, rail seated, and declare it the new Cowshed. We'd get more money from away fans then also. Must be the worst view in the ground but easily the best atmosphere and part of that comes from standing.

I would like to see it in the Kilner, South stand and North lower. Plenty of seats in the Riverside and North upper for those that want or need to be seated. Wouldnt they have to turn north stand into a permanent stand to have safe standing?. Shame they cant house away fans in north lower.

Once did the stadium tour and someone asked Boothy. The only thing he could come up with was that players were superstitious. It’s not like that the team always wins when they play that way but they’re more likely to lose if they don’t. Who knows but the sun probably had something to do with it against Forest.

I suspect the majority of fans today would prefer to sit. Safe standing in the South stand would be plenty IMO - all the Home area & the upper half of the away area This is the best way to go about it IMO. I've used safe standing at Spurs' stadium for an NFL game and I'm all for it, but it only works when everyone around you wants to stand. So there needs to be a dedicated section for safe-standing, the rest of the ground should stay as seated.
