Certainly got a past with brum, results and history wise, town win 100% scrappy or not, who cares. They smashed all our coach windows after cheating their way through the 70s F A Cup quarter final and very lucky to get out of Birmingham unscaved One of two teams that i have never liked
I also went to that cup game on the train, if I remember right we had 12,000 there. We went on the first special train that day, it must have had 30-40 carriages as it had to move twice up the platform! I think there were 3 special train’s that day. Just looked it up and it says we lost 3.1! I have always thought we lost it 2.1, but memory’s fade with age I suppose, remember fighting in lumps on that big terrace of there’s though.

If so at 19.40, go to the sky sports main event channel, press the red button on the remote and you should get a selection of championship games to watch, select the Town game by moving the arrows on the remote to the desired game.

I went to that Birmingham 6th round cup tie remember fighting on the streets on the way to the ground and a couple of older guys from our coach seeing off some Brum fans attacking a town supporter, Latchford broke David Lawson's leg like he had done to Terry Poole a year earlier and Terry Dolan went in goal

My dad went to the game with some mates from the GPO. They went in a rough boozer near the ground in Small Heath. The old man said to the landlady "what's the Brew Eleven like ?" She replied " Better than the Yorkshire shit you fookers drink". He gulped and asked for a pint.😀😀😀

Another hard one to call tonight as well then..
Hoping home advantage and maybe an opening goal with be enough to see Huddersfield Town pick up all three points... need to watch Jutkiewicz, and Deeney and Hogan...
I thought about maybe a 2-2 draw, but with ma blue and white tinted glasses on I’m going with........
HUDDERSFIELD TOWN 2 v BIRMINGHAM CITY 1
Come on ye Terriers. !!!

I was there, Davisons coach from Brighouse, all a bit intimidating on the way in, as I recall no proper segregation, and quite relieved to get out in one piece, although chockers bouncing of the coach as we exited the car park!

Blaming Colwill for poor passing, but it's Ward feigning a run then changing directions every time..So frustrating
