Last game before the international break of course, so most Town fans will be looking at this game as being a decent opportunity for getting 3 points, and possibly spending the two weeks bathing in the audacity of being in the top 6 again.
On the negative side, and slightly disheartening, is the fact that we've faced this team every year in the last 10, and have failed every time to beat them in Wales. In fact, the record reads 7-2-0 for Cardiff in those 10 years, and the Earth has gone around the Sun 20 times since the last time Town fans joyfully scuttled away from Cardiff with the 3 pts.
So, what is going to give? Town's miserable record in Cardiff in general, or Cardiff's miserable run of 6 consecutive home defeats?
I think we might just nick it. UTT
PS: Oggie, if you're reading this, I see a Cardiff player has the name Ng - has to be the shortest surname in the league and I think it's of Chinese origin. So here's an idea of how you pronounce it for commentary:

Form says nailed on away win, but form dosnt necessarily mean much in football, even though their form is dire i dont think Cardiff ar as bad a team as their form and position suggests, of course its a winnable game, but i also wouldnt be surprised in the slightest if we lost, having said all that i`ll say a draw.

Take a draw, should hope for a win considering their form but just feel like never get much there. Would probably opt for the same team although I would personally play koroma for sinani, sinani needs a rest for me and it gives koroma 90 minutes before the break to prove he should be back in the 11.Holmes proved it initially from the bench but last few games in the 11 and almost can’t drop him at the moment. Hopefully Hogg fit as seemed to miss him second half Tuesday night,I like high but feel he needs more time and more suited to a midfield 3 not 2 this point of his development. Ward unlucky not to get maybe even a couple more last few games(Bournemouth and Peterborough disallowed goals) and playing his old club so would leave him in. Be nice to go into another break on a win again…UTT

A ground where we never get a result. Will take a draw.

Town are the perfect opponent for Cardiff, as so many times in the past a team has been on a shit run of some description (straight losses, games without a win, games without a goal, etc) and said run ends against us. So although form says we should win, it'll probably be a comfortable 2 or 3 goal win for Cardiff.

They are terrible at home this season averaging half a point a game. Fingers crossed we go there get on the front foot early & expose their fragile confidence.
Hoping for 3 points with a tough run of fixtures coming up.

Another historical/traditional graveyard of Town hopes. And yes, I know that they haven't been long in this stadium, but I'm including Ninian Park in my sweeping statement. Home win. Nailed on.

Little or no room for error at present with the tight points between clubs and seem to be making plenty of scoring chances that are there for the taking
No guarantees at this level so take what you can when the chances arise
1-0 town Ward

Not sure why some people are always so negative.
Every pre match it’s comments like we lost 30 years ago so we are bound to lose this one!
Previous results from previous seasons have absolutely no bearing on the outcome of the game on Saturday.
Town to put a poor Cardiff side to the sword.
0 - 3.

The only time I ever went to Ninian Park we actually won, we also won 5-1 there too in 88/89....but apart from that, it is a right graveyard for us.

I think you may have been better not including Ninian Park MT. In my lifetime our record at Ninian Park wasn't that bad at all (W5 D6 L7). We're certainly not talking Derby or Preston here.

Alex Smithies will have a blinder by saving our one shot on target. Then pop up in extra time to head the winner from a corner!

They’ve got 1 point from 10
Scored 4 - failed to score in 8 of those 10
Conceded 23
As good opportunity to end a concerning week on a high

You might be right, but my point stands. 5 wins in 18 is under 30% win rate. And when you add in the games at the new ground, we've hardly pulled up many trees in Cardiff, have we?

Official site indicating that iFollow subscribers can only "listen along" to the game. Does this mean it can't be shown on iFollow on Saturday due to it being Sky's Red Button option?

As disappointed as we were with a draw at Posh, with hindsight, they actually have a good home record, they have just been awful away, so it was a credible point in the end. All runs have to come to an end, look at Bournemouth last night. Come on the Town !!

Interesting, and practical. Probably the easiest way of all to pronounce it. I think Oggie is a bit of a linguist, so I'm sure he'll try and get it somewhere near right, whilst not going too hard on his mouth, trying to get this name out of it. It's normally the long names that get complicated!
