Official site indicating that iFollow subscribers can only "listen along" to the game. Does this mean it can't be shown on iFollow on Saturday due to it being Sky's Red Button option? I might be wrong but I don't think Sky offer the red button option on a saturday. Don't know. Just seems strange that only "listening along" is mentioned as an option to follow the game (if you can't get to it): www.htafc.com/news/2021/november/preview-cardiff-city-a/ ....near the top of the article.

You can listen to all the commentaries on-line with iFollow in the UK if you pay the subscription. It is supposed to be for those Town fans out of area who can't listen to Radio Leeds - but now seems to include large parts of Huddersfield when Radio Leeds put us on the 'other' DAB frequency!

Thanks for that, but I was looking at watching the game. I've already subscribed to iFollow, and was planning more on watching moving pictures :-) rather than just listening to it. Might be me misunderstanding "listening along" to actually being able to watch it, too. But it doesn't really indicate that. Edit: I'm assuming they meant to put "watch the game" on iFollow in, but just forgot about that alternative.

Looking at some of the players they've got in their squad I'd expect them to be higher up than they are. Given the height in their squad I'd expect defending set pieces to be something they're probably quite good at, so it might be time to rest one or both of Sorba & Sinani.
Resting Sorba would probably mean changing formation though, as I can't see anyone else at RWB whilst Rowe & Pipa are still unavailable.

Last game before the international break of course, so most Town fans will be looking at this game as being a decent opportunity for getting 3 points, and possibly spending the two weeks bathing in the audacity of being in the top 6 again. On the negative side, and slightly disheartening, is the fact that we've faced this team every year in the last 10, and have failed every time to beat them in Wales. In fact, the record reads 7-2-0 for Cardiff in those 10 years, and the Earth has gone around the Sun 20 times since the last time Town fans joyfully scuttled away from Cardiff with the 3 pts. So, what is going to give? Town's miserable record in Cardiff in general, or Cardiff's miserable run of 6 consecutive home defeats? I think we might just nick it. UTT PS: Oggie, if you're reading this, I see a Cardiff player has the name Ng - has to be the shortest surname in the league and I think it's of Chinese origin. So here's an idea of how you pronounce it for commentary: Did we play them in the league in the 17/18 season?.......

I wouldn't rest Sorba, but I hope Sinani doesn't play - although that would probably disappoint Oggy, as he seems to think the sun shines out of his _ _ _ _ . Can you believe that a commentator with such experience can't see 'crapness' when it stares him in the face?

Another historical/traditional graveyard of Town hopes. And yes, I know that they haven't been long in this stadium, but I'm including Ninian Park in my sweeping statement. Home win. Nailed on. I think you may have been better not including Ninian Park MT. In my lifetime our record at Ninian Park wasn't that bad at all (W5 D6 L7). We're certainly not talking Derby or Preston here. ....and Leeds Road was a graveyard for Cardiff like no other in our lifetimes. We nearly always won, with two 4-0s standing out, Lillis's four-timer and a Paul Jones hat-trick. Our five draws since 2003 were all 0-0, which means that if there's a goal or goals in the match, they always win. That's got to change sometime. When we drew at home last season, weren't they on a long winning/unbeaten run under McCarthy? And we ought to have won.

Could be wrong but I seem to recall seeing a bit of one of their matches the other week and the commentator said that they’d actually conceded quite a lot of goals from set pieces. You may be right. I tend to look at the highlights from the past few games & also go on what qualities I remember from certain individuals whenever I've seen them play. Given that they have a big squad (i.e. players are tall & physically strong, as opposed to large in number) and the goals I've seen scored against them & chances created have come from open play - that's what I based it on. An expectation that they're good at set pieces (both attacking & defending). If I'm right, then reverting to a 4-3-3 & resting both our free kick specialists could be a wise move. If I'm wrong, and they are (inexplicably) shit at defending free kicks then we might want to go with an unchanged line-up. It does make me wonder though, when we're going to give them a rest because they really have looked like they needed one since the last international break.

Why rest a player when their is an international break coming up, take him off after 75 minutes if he is knackered. I too cant see what Oggy see's in him and him and Matt Glennon have a difference of opinion, good old Matt/

Saw the name "Ali Maxwell". Mixed him up with Ali Campbell & wondered why the guy from UB40 was being interviewed about our football club. As you were.

Thought he had some interesting points, though. Writer apparently, but not sure what his connections to HTFC are.

We have a shocking recent history against Cardiff, probably 20 years since a win but I think we will sneak one today, I predict a poor first 60 minutes then smash em’ in the last 30. UTT

Cheers - that's interesting, I mean we've got an even stricter variant of this policy in Saxoney atm, but I was totally unaware that one of the UK countries had introduced it.

For keen Town fans outside the UK Ifollow's a Godsend, even though it often does mean getting up at an ungodly hour to watch live.

Surely, we are going to at last win at Cardiff? They are on a horrendous run of form and cannot buy a win. Yet this is Town and if we come away with a point I will be happy. And don't call me surely.
