Kongolo off to League 1 Sunderland?! I watched Bolton pump them on Saturday. He’s got his work cut out. On a side note that Afolayan of Bolton is a great player. One to watch for sure. |

Kongolo off to League 1 Sunderland?! What a waste. The player we had on loan could easily hold his own in a mid table Premier League side. Put in some of the best defensive performances I’ve seen from a Town player, and then put in some of the worst under the Cowleys. Such a shame to see. |

Even if we don’t make the playoffs for what it’s worth I reckon we need 30 points from 17 based on previous seasons 6th placed finishes this is one of the best januarys in a long time with three very simple but effective signings.

As an aside, Everton are reportedly stumping up £40m for Adele Alli. FORTY MILLION!! It's on a game based appearance structure though, so not 40m up front. I think 10m is to be paid after 20 appearances.. That'll take them into next season... Not a bad structured deal, he's not worth 40m however. |

It will be interesting to see how we compared to other teams near the playoff's.
That is in the morning when the window is shut.
Some of them have had a right go at it and I don't think that anyone on here thought that we would spend much if anything.

Yep. It's a loan - just one that takes him to the end of his contract here so to all intents & purposes he's gone.
Only difference in reality is that whilst he's still registered to us he can't play for them against us this season.
3 year contract & doesn't play a single minute of a league fixture. A project player that didn't work out.

It may mean we have to pay the last month of his contract - the extra month that covers July beyond the end of the contract which caused all the issues with Simpson under Cowley. |
