Not a rumour as such, but 50 goals in 55 games at any level is impressive. Next project player?

Had his chance at Bolton. 1 goal in 33 professional appearances is hardly promising at 24 and no real pedigree. Sounded like he struggled to make the transition.
No doubt other Conference and L2 clubs would be willing to take a pint though. I just don’t think he’d have the time here to make a success.

There is always a rough diamond out there ,just watched docu on Ian wright and David Rocastle ,one had the std football life ,the other only started at 22 ,we could just do with finding one of these diamonds |

Very different; Sorba’s grounding was at West Ham. Faal’s at an amateur Serie C club. Sorba has near three years on Faal, and was also picked up at 21 with more time on his side. At 21, Sorba had played more than double the professional games as Faal with a better return. Faal left Bolton (who took the punt on him when he was first scoring for fun) and released him 12 months ago after a failed spell with them and in the Conference because he struggled to adapt to full-time. |
