Great win, and Newcastle/Howe humiliated, what's not to like. I had Covid before vaccination was even a thing and didn't need to go to hospital. Neither did millions of others. This is now a milder variant so I'm not sure why Orinoco would have ended up in hospital unless he's obese or has other health complications

Without jabs i would have been worse. Jabs aren't a cure they are just an extra layer of defence.

So jabs could have worked as iam in vulnerable category.

Being something of vintage i can say that rest is very important.

Brilliant thread.
Starts off with a feel good message and then morphs into another one full of doom and gloom.

Would love to go for a walk, just tested positive for covid, gonna miss Swansea game also, 3 jabs mean nothing. The jabs are not there to stop you getting the virus. They are there so your body has pre existing anti bodies incase you do catch it, therefor the hope is you suffer no more than you would with a common cold etc. Or at least avoid hospitalisation.

Would love to go for a walk, just tested positive for covid, gonna miss Swansea game also, 3 jabs mean nothing. You can go for a walk. Just keep away from others? Hopefully you wont be too ill. I know so many who have it now or recently all seem to be reasonably mild, and recoverd in a week. Its more annoying than anything, having to miss planned stuff.

Would love to go for a walk, just tested positive for covid, gonna miss Swansea game also, 3 jabs mean nothing. Hope your alright with it pal. My wife is still positive and ill on day 8, my neighbour is still positive on day 10. Me and my two lads all did lateral flow tests yesterday before we went to Burnley. Everyone should do this IMO

"Insight" from Galph in 3,2,1...
Back on topic - can anyone name a second Boo Radleys single? Not sure I can, and I'm pretty sure I bought the album with that track on it.

Strange how it differs - I had it before Christmas scratchy throat out of curiously did a lateral flow which was positive the remaining week or so I wouldn’t of known anything was wrong absolutely no symptoms.

'This virus is naughty and it lingers'? Every low grade virus lingers, since time began. If you actually think back and remember how many folk you worked or socialised with who had snotty noses, coughs etc etc for what seemed like the whole winter, you may realise this isn't new. Kier has had it 6 times, if he was really honest he would admit to catching colds a lot before. It's called viral season for a reason. 800k a day common cold infections was pretty much the normal prior to 2020. 150k is a big scary number without context. 8k excess deaths in 19 months with one virus is less than we have excess deaths with a flu outbreak. It's not insight or anything new It's merely the stats of what we always knew against this weird misuse of stats that appeared with this virus. The real fact is 142k people would have died over this period whatever, the yearly death numbers prove it. The 70k plus so far excess other deaths are the scary part. You can argue about 'projected death numbers with covid', you can't argue about ACTUAL other deaths, they happened, these people are in fact deceased. Living in fear of modelling, whilst people actually die and continue to die seems more than foolish?

The Premier league and us to some extent is influenced greatly by politics.
