Article suggests he wants £35000 a week which is why he's turned down a contract extension with Besiktas. So I'd guess its bollocks

Watched him a few times in the MLS and always looked far too good for that standard.
Would love to see him at Town but as mentioned above, I can’t see how we’d meet his salary demands, unless promoted.

Little 'ol Huddersfield paying someone just over £1.8m p/a in basic wages. The world's gone mad...
Not sure how much we paid in wages in the PL seasons, but these sums of money are part of the reason why football is on a knife edge once you get below the clubs that can sustain stupid money being laid out...

Alarm bells written all over this guy. That story certainly doesn’t paint him in a good light, seems like a mercenary from that story.

I think it's that he wanted a contract equal to that of another player there (I think Yalcin) and Besiktas offered him less.
If he's got the options of West Ham, Southampton or Everton (which sound more realistic) he won't come to Town. Although the rumours are to France, Belgium or MLS
