Absolutely this. Same with all our other far-flung fans that still travel to home games. It's sometimes hard work mentally to get myself up to travel from bloody Hecky, never mind Westie's trip from Scotland, 3Pipe from Ireland, Walton Terrier, Surrey and anyone else I've forgotten. All credit to them Playoff final v Reading there were two from New Zealand sat in front of us, actually think calendar had an interview with them outside the town ground a day or two after, quite an away day. Jeez and my selfish mam and dad wouldn't pay for me to go to games from Germany? Bloody typical Yorkshire tightwads

After we play Sunderland on the 18th April our next game is Cardiff on the 30th. Including fixtures the day before the Cardiff game Rotherham will play 3 games in that period and the rest of the relegation candidates will have played 2!

Cardiff will also play 3 games in that time on the 19th, 22nd and 27th, during which Town will have 11 full clear days without a game. Cardiff on the other hand have 3 matches in 9 days and have a 2 and a half day turnaround between the Rotherham and Town games.

10 coaches worth of free travel is a significant move by the club. Hopefully the fans respond in big numbers despite the early start.

You'd be pissed off if you were Cardiff. Right cock up created for them following the postponement at Rotherham, no fault of Cardiff's that, plu they were winning the game!

So, will the p4p11 cyclists stop an extra night paid for by sky? Or will they return home on the Saturday and miss the game on Sunday having been assured of a match ticket when signing to do the ride? Or return, but go back down on Sunday morning?

One things for sure sky wont give a toss, i know its not sky's responsibility but its still bad on those doing the ride.

I would imagine practicality will win the day. Also depends on them not having plans for the Sunday, although I’d expect they would have earmarked it for rest anyway.

Cycists have been given two options; Return home by coach Sat morning and miss the game. Return home by coach Sunday after the match but find their own accommodation for Saturday night! Sky really fucked us over this time and I feel sorry for Boothy who's spent months arranging it all. He's had to change it all with very little time left to play with. He's already contacted the hotels that we are using but they couldn't provide rooms for 90 people at such short notice which is understandable. Accommodation in Cardiff is starting at £200 a night for a twin room -add that £100 per person onto the £250 that it's already cost, plus the cost of meals for an extra day and your looking at about £500 plus 3 days off work. 3 Days of pissing down rain and a 30mph headwind will just about finish me off.

Not a chance in hell we sell out allocation of just short of 3000.

Not a chance in hell we sell out allocation of just short of 3000. This is the price that football pays for selling their soul to TV. It’s also one of those twists & turns we see. If there’s still a lot riding on this game, Cardiff fans will probably be quite pleased that this rearrangement stymies the away support, and maybe they’ll offer more seats to their own? It’s why we need to make sure we get some points from these next 2 games, ideally at least 3. I’m disappointed that the people who are putting themselves out, all for a good cause, are being shat on. Hopefully some benefactor will pop up and sort it out for them.

It won't be Monday night as Sky are showing Man United v Wolves. The only possible times that Town v Leicester could be on TV are Saturday at 12:30 or Sunday at 12:00.

I agree, you could also add Saturday evening (19-45ko) as a possible move........I reckon Brum v L33ds & Cov v Boro will likely be split regardless & both candidates for tv pick.

No but given it's theopening weekend of the PL that weekend with a Friday game, Saturday lunchtime game, Saturday teamtime game, 2 Sunday games, and a Monday game, as well as a Scottish PL game Saturday lunchtime and Saturday teatime (plus Leicester play on Sky on the previous Wednesday which rules out the Friday night for the Leicester game), I'd say the chances of the Leicester game being picked are literally 0%, given they have picked an EFL game in their standard Saturday lunchtime slot already and the only other possible slot would be Sunday at midday, but they'd have picked it by now if they were going to pick it
