We still have a minimum of 2 home games to be picked.
Including Leeds, there's only 6 chances for them to pick us at home twice.
Leeds is already 12.30pm on the Saturday so I suspect that'll be picked (plus they're likely gonna be up near the top and us near the bottom when the next batch of games are picked)

Whilst our games down at ER are always on Sky, the return fixture never is. Would make sense for Sky to pick it up this time. It’s a 12.30 ko to lessen the chance of any trouble.

Other way round isn't mate 🤔. It's never on Sky at Bellend Road but always at ours.

WBA at home could be a potential one. Return of Carlos and they will be up there.

Us losing today and QPR surprisingly (in the sense that they were 2-0 up at half time) losing yesterday mean the game on Sunday 28th Jan at 1.30pm stays in that slot and is still live on Sky

Depends on Leeds fa cup run? 5th round ties to be played Tue 27th/Wed 28th......Because of EFL Final Chelsea would be Wed 28th.

So easy to call this one; I predicted it years ago. It's a simple fact - if Town and L666s are in the same league then the HD1 game will be televised by Sky, but not the one at Bellend. It's been the case as far back as I can remember, and I just don't understand why Sky do it. Not one game at L666s has been shown to the best of my knowledge (but then, I don't have SS so can't guarantee that statement).

Sky had a bit of a spat with Lids over televising home games a few years back, somewhat backfired now with Bristol away on Friday night & Plymouth away ko @12-30pm.....UTR tonight.

Possibly its cos Leeds have a big fan base and so those who cant get to the away game can still see it, its all about viewing figures. Thats why Man utd and other big prem clubs are on all the bloody time it seems, fans...well hangers on...all over the world, so again all about viewing figures.

It is indeed Mothers day
That pick also means Sky have picked us the minimum 4 times with 2 at home, so while they can pick us again before the end of the season, they don't have to

West Brom home game now live on Sky on Sunday 10th March at 12 noon. I don't know why EFL/Sky cannot release the tv picks for Easter period sooner than 1st March, the PL games were announced last week......With 2 matches (PL-1) over the long weekend then Championship fans should at least have as much if not more notice.

Sky’s audience are tv views, us that attend games are irrelevant. We are not needed, in fact sky would prefer we stayed at home to watch and pay for it. As grounds start to become empty they will simply put in a virtual crowd to make it look full to viewers.

Nor replace how a crowd can influence a teams performance. Without the fans football is nothing.

However, I also watched more Town matches in the season when we weren't allowed to go and watch than any other season in my lifetime - so I guess I'm part of the problem.

TBF all that (probably) says is that you'll watch Town away if you can do it without travelling. Being at a game is much better (IMHO) but the ballache of travelling (particulary evening games) means I'll sometimes watch via Ifollow if allowed. The fact I'll probably look for a dodgy stream because I'm unable to pay to watch a game I was never going to be able to attend seems simply crazy to me.

I wonder what our overall record is for games televised by sky (How many won, drawn and lost)?
My gut feel is that it would be a decent return, but I don't suppose records like this would actually be recorded anywhere so we'll probably never know.
Can anyone recall our best and worst days among the sky games?
Best - Chelsea away 1-1, Man City away 1-0 (Robbie Edwards), Leeds home 2-1 (Heff)
Worst - can't think of too many, Barnsley home in the playoffs 1-3, Stoke away 2-3 after being 2 up.
Any others?
