Initial allocation of 2000 for Coventry, we'll sell those no problem. Hopefully double that.....

Picks for week 2; Norwich v Wigan (Sat 6 @12.30} & WBA v Watford (Mon 8 @8pm), Sky appear to be picking games on a weekly basis with a 5 week minimum commitment, EFL need to get same commitment that the Premier League get from Sky........which is a lot more advance.

The plus side to all this, is that Sky have not selected us for any more games in August

I hate kick-offs at noon on a Sunday - no lunch and have to set off early too.

I'm away on my jollies for the Hull Game anyway.
Why are we on Sky? You would hardly think we're box office material at the moment.

Thanks sky messes up both days for work purposes sky tv the scurge of football. I do get why people get pissed off with sky, i do myself, but tbf sky generally has been good for the game in this country, football is as popular as its ever been, lower division teams getting national exposure and raising their profile etc, the championship is or was the 5th best supported league in Europe and a lot of that is because of profile and popularity which is partly down to Sky, fixture changes on a whim are a pain in the arse and the saturation coverage verges on overkill at times, on the whole however much we curse them sky have been good for the game, there are things which they could do better though.

Sky pay millions for the privilege of being able to changes dates & kick off times. Whilst it can be annoying, they'll never be able to please all the people all of the time, but without them we'd be back to the days of clubs not having a pot to piss in, crap stadiums, mud bath pitches and players whose main goal in life was to pull as many birds as possible whilst getting pissed after the match (and sometimes before)
Actually on reflection that sounds much more fun. Fuck off Sky and bring back the good old days.

Pure stress though trying to get the great deal that was on offer with that mob but got there in the end but the stress has driven me to a 3am dram and bottle of Magners (which should really at that time actually be in a boozer in Huddersfield) ! Anyway - Bring on the Swansea City now !!!

Not so good for those of us who can’t get to games. Means either getting up at 2am or missing games entirely. In the current form it’s most likely going to be missing games.

You will be able to use the George Hotel again in the next year or so as it opens again, at long last , as a Radisson right in the centre of Town.
