My favourite ever was a few years ago when it was FA Cup weekend. “ And our panel today is Phil Thompson, winner of the FA Cup with Liverpool, Paul Merson who won it with Arsenal, Matt LeTissier - what are you doing here! “.

Although a bit different Des lynam was quite good, quite cool in front of the camera, best one of his was when Town were on MOTD v wimbledon in the FA cup, just before our game was on he said something like "for those of you who remember when Huddersfield last won the cup, yes you, you can wake up now".

Which provider are you with?. Through Sky themselves orinoco. I ring they every year, threaten to leave for either Virgin or BT and they basically offer me what I want and on my terms. A lot of the time these companies will give ridiculous deals just to stop you leaving for another competitor. At the end of the day, they make more money from the adverts they run rather than the customer subscriptions. If Super Sunday starts at 1pm and finishes at 7pmm guaranteed an hour that broadcast will be commercials. I've just done that with virgin mobile, they've upped my data and get half price for 6 months👍been with them 3 years.

Closed shop unless a billionaire invests in your club and you have a once in 100years season. As I was saying above money as ruined the competition. If you think Leicester winning the league is like it was before your mistaken. There season was a major one off 5000/1 odds at the start . Do YOU REALLY think the premier league is competitive or a closed shop that can only be won by the big six. ( bar a freak season) and I’m being kind because this year 3 clubs at a major push could of won this year. ( no 2) You could say that about the World Cup .. Realistically only 5 or teams can win.. Doesn’t stop every country in the world desperately trying to qualify.. Or every football fan downing tools for a month to watch it.. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ Never said it stops people watching it , just not as competitive or enjoyable .

£15 for sky sports that is very cheap and not the normal price. You can’t quote the other price comparisons at the top of the price chain and then compare with sky at a cheap well discounted price. You can get a pizza for £1 from Morrisons you can go to the cinema for £5 at Halifax or free with a bank account from Lloyds , the iPhone for miles less than quoted . Sky sports is around £27 a month and that’s not including the other channels you need to take the contract at the start. Numbers can easily be manipulated to suit an agenda. Personally it’s not the coverage that I dislike it’s the lack of competition I at the top end of sport which is now disappointing and that’s due to money. Ie premier league and F1 the prime examples Thats fair enough brighouse. I have a choice in that a pay £45 (£30 for other channels and the option to be able to record what I like, pause live TV etc.) for Sky in total. £15 of which is Sky Sports. I barter with them every year in order to get what I feel is the best choice for me and what I believe to be pretty decent value. But I'm not manipulating numbers. I gave prices that people choose to pay for what I would class as a luxury outgoing on a monthly basis - its a choice, not a necessity. I agree that it has taken away some of the competition, but if it wasn't Sky it would be something else that did that Yeah also can’t argue with that. There is a lot to like about tv coverage now, just hate how it’s impacted the competitive nature of our beautiful game. I’ve accepted that, but the downside to that is getting to the big league isn’t that important to me any more. I want to GET there, but I know it won’t be that great when there.

I guess if they just covered the away games that are a twat to get to due to distance, timing etc, I wouldn't mind. I'm asking too much again. Rather be on telly now than not, success is what it is, can't have it both ways. 11 of us going to Hull, it's dropped just right, had it been Saturday would have been 8, its swings and roundabouts.

With the late rash of televised games it's highly likely I won't see us play live now until the last match of the season. I doubt I've seen fewer games in person since I've been a SC holder than the current season. Will be seriously thinking of not renewing and just picking up games as and when I'm available, always had other interests and there seem to have been too many clashes this season. If the club puts out odd games at £10 a go like Bournemouth then you start to feel the SC isn't worth having. Promotion would influence things but not by much.

For one reason or another, I’ve missed more home games this season (7) than in years but I really like where I sit - a dozen or so rows back from the home dugout in the main stand - so for that reason alone, I would continue to renew so long as a season card is in the £300-£400 range whilst we play in the Championship. It’s all about retaining the seat for me but I can see how all these televised games put folk off, it is a ballache when they move a Saturday 3pm ko to a Friday 7.45 ko.

Only one set of fixtures in the season for Sky to tamper with (April 30) & you would bet your house Coventry v Town will be moved in this Friday's decision, with 12-30 kick offs taken up by the League One finale it leaves a possibility of Friday night, Saturday 5-30 or the dreaded 8pm, just as bad Sunday at noon or the one I think we might end with Bank Holiday Monday, kick off time anyone's guess......still I would prefer it was left untouched!!

Games are picked now on a week by week basis. By the end of Friday we should know the Easter TV games, by the 25th we'll know about the Barnsley game, by the 1st April we'll know about the Coventry game, then the final day games are picked once everyone has played 45 games (as the day and time wouldn't change) Per my above post, I’m only going off what Stevvy said here. Hope he is correct!

I suspect they shifted the date for picking the games on the penultimate weekend because of the international break (which I'd say is probably fair enough). May as well get last weekends games (and the few midweek catchup games) in before making a decision, so likely Thursday/Friday final cutoff for the Coventry game

Sky usually let you know when they intend to announce the next televised games. Can’t find anything though and want to book a mini bud to Coventry.
Anyone an idea when they’re getting announced???
