Would be good to get to 82 points, makes no difference to me who we play in the semi final, and it won't be Forest either way. On the subject of last day nothing at stake games, that final match at home in 2017 v Cardiff City where we lost 0-3 was dire. Nobody in the crowd was that fussed, bit like a training session, I admit to leaving the stadium feeling that was as far as we were going, and would no doubt lose in the semi final. Repeat would do nicely! Minus the red card.

Hope we are saving players for the playoffs. More like hiding them from the EFL rules?? If I understand correctly you can make A LOT of changes before falling foul of them. I think as long as you have 10 outfield players the same from your previous fixture in the matchday squad you're fine. Note - 6 of those 10 can be on the bench if required.

The part about Koroma was a bit odd. He's fit but he might not be involved. And out of contract at the end of next month. Disappointing if he's already played his last game. There's a player in there - one that I wondered if we could keep hold of last summer. Still young, I think we might regret it if he leaves. Especially for nowt.

Town have a option of a further 12 months, so doubt if he leaves it would be for nothing. We signed him for a fee and a sell on clause was also implemented I think as part of the deal.

Think we have been playing the game for a couple of weeks, at least. The Tino think makes me consider that he will be starting the away leg and Thomas gets an extra week.? The aim is to hand in a team sheet an hour before kick off that is just about exactly what you planned, whilst the opposition cant be sure about at least 3 or 4 of the starters, its a game.

Let's go for the win to try finish 3rd, just on the off-chance that the EFL grow some plums and decide to punish Bournemuff for their profligate spending over the years...

4th spot is in our hands to avoid a possible Friday night trip to Luton or Millwall......will Forest be thinking the same?? Can just imagine both us and Forest trying to lose by more than the other in order to avoid the Friday night semi! (hmmm... Friday Night Semi sounds a bit like something from Roger's Profanisaurus)

Friday Night Semi sounds a bit like something from Roger's Profanisaurus) Thing about Forest's team selection for tomorrow is that they haven't been able to rotate their squad like we have because they've been striving for 2nd place and playing their strongest 11. So when it comes to 'resting players' for tomorrow, they're a bit hampered by EFL rules. Nevertheless, given any number of clubs can finish 5th or 6th it's impossible to say whether 3rd or 4th is better other than one is Fri evening v Saturday pm... i don't think CC will be spend any time worrying over this tbh.

Will Sky Sports' red button let us watch this tomorrow?

Agree Carlos won't be worrying about who we face in the play-offs, I was more commenting on the absurdity of either us or Forest trying to engineer an advantage by finishing 4th rather than 3rd. Not convinced on your rotation point though- Forest only had a few days longer than us where 2nd was achievable- it's only last Saturday that it became impossible for us. We haven't massively rotated other than enforced changes, so I wouldn't say we have an advantage over Forest on that front.

Haven't been to as many games as I'd hoped this season for a variety of reasons and get that we might see some of the wider squad tomorrow rather than full on first team. BUT its a game I have to be at. Last regular game to celebrate an amazing season before the madness of play offs.
I hope as many as possible choose to go - the club and team deserve that.

Hope they do the lap of honour today to give us a chance to thank them for their efforts this season. No point waiting til after the play off game cos everyone will either be too busy celebrating or be too pissed off.

We know we have another home game, no point celebrating anything today, need to keep focused on next week with no distractions No lap of honour until the season is over, especially not a big one with the family’s etc like a normal end of season game.

Has a friendly game feel today. Can’t stand these games. Football is about blood and guts. Give everything, go for everything, go for the jugular. Without that passion, just not the same. Roll on next Friday/Saturday.

Think if we go up will let koroma leave.. If we don’t offer him a new contract.. Generally not as good this season as last.. I’ve heard rumours of a bad attitude.. 🍻

UTT It will be a cracking day, hope you all enjoy it. I won’t be there today. I’ve done 41 out of 46 league games before anyone starts 💪 We were due to go away next weekend, planned ages ago. I’ve obviously told my better half I aren’t going anywhere other than football next weekend so I had to sacrifice today! UTT

Bristol can't go any higher or lower than 17th..but I bet they come and kick lumps out of us..even though Town are the cleanest team in the Championship with no red cards (along with Millwall and Barnsley),just 71 yellows (Fulham lowest with 68) and the lowest number fouls , 410..(17 ahead of 2nd place swansea)...We're a clean machine...

Roll on next Friday/Saturday. If the rules allowed it I reckon Nigel & Carlos would be more than happy to make multiple substitutions today.......makes a lot of sense for both.

This weekend is the calm before the storm.
Love playoff football but it's a nerve shredder.
Wouldn't fancy being a Luton, Sheff U, Boro or Millwall fan today.
