Tell you what. I’ve just replayed our goal from Monday night. There is no better taker of a dead ball than Sorba. I’ve got a good feeling he will make a major impact in the game. And there's no better finisher to go bulge the net.

3-0 Town.
Sorba 12' Holmes 28' Toffolo 49'
Forest fans have a shit day watching their team get pumped and we ruin the party atmosphere in the Sky studio completely.

Got to fancy us here. All the pressure & weight of history on Forest. They’ve bottled it once this year at Bournemouth and did their best in the semi. Thomas got to start. Can’t carry both Holmes & Sinani as we did against Luton in the second leg. Play Pipa for his pace over Turton. Big pitch at Wembley. Was also thinking that we have one big factor in our favour. Carlos on the touch line - far better looking than Cooper. You saw it when Forest blew it against Bournemouth - players looking to the touchline and seeing Cooper next to Parker, who I think is a very good looking geezer, and you could see their heads drop. Those are the fine margins that can make the difference. We should bring Schindler back for this game then in that case, to stand on the touchline and make smouldering eyes at the Forest players. Job done lads.

Everyone decided what shirt they’re wearing next week; think the Puma Pure 2017 home shirt that I wore last time at Wembley is getting an airing 😁 Town “We’re on our Way” T Shirt on Saturday for journey down ( if it arrives on time) This season’s home shirt on the Sunday. Ooh good shout, might have to get some of those T shirts for us for Saturday 👍

Think our ace card is Tino. If you were there at Coventry when he came on against a very good side he blew them away. Unplayable
Notice carlos has kept him away for a while but that lad is a game changer and typically forest cannot do any homework on him as he is a totally unknown quantity.
I would not be at all surprised to see him start and forest players and management left scratching their heads how to deal with him.
Football now is all about preparing and knowing the opponents just as much as your own tactics. How do you prepare against someone who hasn't played much?
I am not particularly worried about the Forest game. We lose, so what, great season really proud and competitive football next year.
I have a feeling we will win however as Carlos will tactically out think and plan Cooper, just like he has done at least once to every manager since November.

UTT From Carlos’ perspective Tino probably doesn’t give us enough defensively to start, doesn’t look like he’ll track his runner up and down for 90 minutes. Think he’ll be seen as a bit of a risk - Carlos likes to soak up early pressure and then hit them late on. If we’re down at half time then it probably won’t be long before he gets brought on. Would love to see him get plenty of time because like you say he was dynamite at Coventry.

Agree on having confidence in CC and his tactical superiority
Worry about Tino though, true he made a big impact at Coventry, but there were quite a few gams in which he had no impact at all

The thought of Tino and Sorba running riot on the flanks whets the appetite of the average supporter. But there is no way Carlos will start Tino. He wouldn't take that risk.

I feel I’m in the Luxurious position of being very relaxed about either outcome. If we win and go up, great! But if we don’t and stay in the Championship, then that’s absolutely fine also. Add the financial boost that we’ll get whatever, it takes any pressure off for me. And in general, I think all the pressure will be on Forest. We’ve been there and done that recently. It’s a long long time since The Trees have. Whatever happens, Thankyou HTAFC for a very enjoyable season.

I don't like Forest but I'm finding the wind up stuff on twitter extremely embarassing from both sides. Most of it isn't remotely funny.

All the same you dont get to play off finals and not be bothered if you lose, if we dont win i'll be disappointed for sure, but probably not as much as any Florist supporter if they dont win, its their biggest day for years bless em, to us the playoffs are water off a ducks back, and we're quite good at them.

My nerves are twitching already. Dont know why but my head is telling me a 2-0 forest win.
Heart is saying a 1-0 Town, Lees header.
Whatever happens, proud as punch and will definitely be singing and clapping st the final whistle win or lose.

Essentially my position is that I always want town to win....be in the best league position, the cups or this one off Competition of the play offs. I'm less fussed about the Premier League prize than I was in 2017 but I want to win every game of football.

We'll defend and sit deep for the first half. They may score... they may not. 0-0 or 0-1 is OK at half time. The second half will be ours.
I reckon 1-1 into extra time and then I have no idea/

They've done well under Cooper. A few wobbles in recent weeks though. They are for the taking!
It's too hard to call this one, it could go either way. I have a sneaky feeling that Forest will beat us, but it will be a decent game. Heart says Town obviously. To see town go to the PL, not once, but twice...especially in a fairly short space of time... heffin dream!
