A good mate told me two weeks ago it was a done deal.
Apparently very highly rated.

The way we develop the young players from the top teams it wouldn't surprise me if those clubs approach us to take their starlets.

Fingers crossed on this one. The videos of him from Premier League 2 are impressive.
Would be a great early summer signing this.

Would really applaud this signing. Would be a fantastic addition and would show we mean business next season.

Where does he play?
Be a good statement going into next season for sure

Always a gamble these lads who look class at youth level. We've probably had more success (Palmer, Colwill, ESR) than failures (Mipo).
It's an inexpensive gamble though so fingers crossed he takes to the step up with relative ease.
Wouldn't mind us trying to get Elliot Anderson from Newcastle. He was excellent for Bristol Rovers

Where does he play? Be a good statement going into next season for sure I think he is a Kasey Palmer type. Fluid behind a striker. I could be wrong though. I have mentioned him before, but Callum Wright at Leicester would be a great addition. Had an excellent loan spell at Cheltenham 13 goals this season from midfield. 22 Year old.

Never heard of him, how many have seen him play.
Who does he play for and in what position?

Won the recent Premier league 2 player of the year. Very intelligent player who can play on the left and through the middle.
Real coup for the club if we manage to bring him in, Swansea are all over it tho

Dylan Levitt would be a good replacement for LOB

Perfect LOB replacement would be Ben Pearson at Bouremouth, get him on a loan.
Sits on their bench, now they have gone up will they sign better?
Wages could be a stumbling block though

Wages could be a stumbling block though Great shout however feel the last sentence there would mean probably never even entertained. Mcatee seems like the sort of young prem quality loan we would be after in that position….seems to be quite expensive to get the quality you require if wanting to buy permanent.Unless we can unearth another from none league/league 1.although we bed them in slowly usually. If Lewis goes and we look at this zian flemming to sign plus we get mcatee I still feel like we need another in a different mould too….a more high energy box to box type.

If he’s the player that I’m thinking of, he played a cup game last season (May have come off the bench for last 30 or so), and looked frighteningly good. Swindon away?

The deep thinking of Carlos and the way he coaches players is obviously an attraction to top clubs with youngsters needing both games and intelligent management.
Feel our midfield was the weakest link last season so if we can strengthen there and create more openings for the strikers/s that could mean exciting times...

I believe he came on in the dead rubber Champions League game i went to. Don’t remember him doing anything of note.

He made 6 cameo appearances for Man city's first team last season in all competitions totalling 116 minutes + two full games in the EFL trophy against senior opposition.

Quality wise, he would be similar to ESR at the time when he came here.
If there is genuine interest, it's a no brainer for me.
Would really improve our creativity from midfield.
