Imagine this is the Sinani replacement coming in . Boyle is the Sarr and REG likely allowing Hogg to return to his natural position. Leaves us with Vallejo, Colwill , Eiting, Blackman, Anjorin and Campbell to replace from a squad perspective but wouldn’t be shocked to see Phillips, Diarra and maybe Crichlow fill in at times. If we sign two or three more bits of quality in a CB, CDM , ST guise I think we’ll be up there again REG is the Colwill replacement, surely? |

If we sign two or three more bits of quality in a CB, CDM , ST guise I think we’ll be up there again I think that’s right but can’t see us bringing in 2 or 3 more bits of quality without outgoings. Depends whether we’re going to be 3-4-3 or 4-3-3 as to whether another CB or midfielder is main priority. And I would love a different striking option but I’ve thought that ever since we were relegated and Ward is a better bet now than he was going into previous seasons. Obviously if LOB, Sorba or Toff leave then they also need replacing. |

I imagine REG will be in games we envisage we’ll pass out from the back and be against a pacy striker but potentially more in the Pearson role . REG is the Colwill replacement, surely? Only not as good, not as tall and not a left sided defender 🤔 CB is CB, meant more as taking up a space as a defender in the squad, and probably better than Boyle. But I get your point, haha. |

Not sure if anyone has posted that Hartick reckoned that he could well be off to Brighton as a make weight for a player of theirs that city fancy . If he isn't then a loan to prem / upper champ or man City feeder club is possible. We might have a chance imo . We have a good reputation for developing lads. But I wouldn't be holding my breath tbh

Listened to the TTC and ooh to be a terrier crossover live podcast the other day and chicken/hartrick seemed to say we are interested but chances of us getting him quite unlikely.didn’t rule it out completely but suggested probably very much at the back of the queue.

I read an article recently where the Chelsea Prem 2 team almost got relegated. The article discussed that most of the recent academy lads had left permanently or on loan. They needed to use some of the first team squad to save relegation. I wonder if the Chelsea academy might not have the quality over the next year or two. |
