Might as well declare ownership of the League now.

Are there no limits to the number of players they can have on loan from one club? Three from one club seems a little strange, almost becoming a junior club for us - although I suspect Daly will not return to play for Town.
Edit:
The only rules in the EFL I can find is that you can only have 5 loan players in a match day squad and all loan players are included in the 25 man squad, no matter how old they are.

Only the Premier League puts a limit on loans from one club; which is why when we got promoted we had to choose between Palmer and Brown

I’m quite happy with it. It does them well and then we can see how well they do playing professional football. Win/Win for me. Also, I’m in Harrogate quite a bit so might be biased haha.

This may be make or break for him, and if Town do not think he will make Championship standard it will hopefully put him in the window for lower league clubs to some in for. As we know very few academy players make it through to the team they spend their younger years with, especially at our level and above, but I think the club try hard to do their best for the younger players even if they end up moving on. Critchlow at 23, as has been said, is probably in the same position.

Was he? I don't recall it. Not saying he was but just don't remember him turning out for Town in the PL.

Yeah he was but got injured on eng u21 duty & because of that Wagner fell out with him so when he returned to fitness wasn’t played & come winter window was sent back. On the topic it’s clear Carlos doesn’t rate Daly so we should just offload him same with Crichlow.

Sad to think how tepid Palmer's careers been. Just signed for Coventry though and still only 25. Fingers crossed for him this season, gets regular game time, keeps fit and performs to levels he did 6 years ago.
Izzy Brown'been at 10 Clubs, spent majority of his last 5 years injured, same age as Palmer and just released from PNE, having never played!
Absolutely gutting. They must both be sick when they think about the talent and potential when they were 19/20 year olds. Goes to show how precarious football can be as a career for youngsters.
I'd have bet on at least one of them playing for England. Expected both to have careers at middling (at least) Premier league sides and wrack up 100s of top flight appearances between them.

On the plus side, I hadn't realised that Daly is still only 21, he still has time to come good but probably at a lower level than we are currently at. Surprised he didn't go to Bradford, Hughes mustn't be a fan.

Surprised he didn't go to Bradford, Hughes mustn't be a fan. Saw him play for Bradford v Harrogate and he was anonymous for 70 minutes. Diarra completely outshone him and was only on for the last 10 mins or so.

It's a really good loan for him is this. His contract runs out at the coming season, with the club having the option to extend for a year. He's still only 21 so plenty of time for him yet. It should also put him in the shop window, so if Town don't think he's gonna make it with us, then it gives him options elsewhere.
Needs to get a full season, playing week in week out and impacting games.
