Isn’t he usually a bit more of a reliable source?

Not overly exciting given recent record but then again Town have a habit of turning water into wine……

Think Carlos could sort him out and realize his obvious ability. If fits into wage structure could be a good pick up

£11 million Cardiff paid for him in 2018😳 Sounds like one of our own speed twins that failed to deliver, has he got his head in the right place? If so it could be a gamble worth taking.

Potentially a shrewd signing. There is a good player there if coached properly. Never really got a look in last season at Preston. Would certainly fill the gap we have on the left

Not sure on this one, Preston sent him back due to his shit attitude and apparently was poor for them really not sure sure why we’d go for him apart from he’s free.

Tough choice to make on this guy we know he as played well at this level needs to get his head down and show his skills. PS A free and leave us with more coin to fill in other gaps

A bit of an enigma who’s done well on the coat tails of his brother, in my opinion.
Not a bad player by any means for this level, but never really delivered the stats worthy of his price; he’s never consistently produced more than 5 or so assists or goals per season, which for a very attack-minded player is quite poor.
Maybe he’s been miss-managed; an awful lot of his time has been spent with non-progressive managers (notably at Cardiff - McCarthy, Warnock et al). And, as some say, we have a habit of getting the best from players. Used in squad I see benefit, he’s got to be better than Aaron’s, but he wouldn’t be my go to.

Absolute huge potential. Imo would be a statement of intent with CC getting the best from players.

Sounds like we’re scraping the barrel a bit with this one. But as back up might be ok. Hope we don’t give him more than a year with an option for us to extend as seems likely to be more miss than hit. Another Rolando

£11 million Cardiff paid for him in 2018😳 Who from ? Anyway he's 4 years older and hopefully wiser, ready to listen and learn. If Carlos can't fix him, nobody can..and he's free

Definitely not against this signing HOWEVER:
One of the things that went wrong with Wagner and his era at town imo was that the club (sporting director, DH and/or Wagner himself) started to get a bit of hubris with their ability to turn bad eggs into good characters (or at least integrate them into the team). It worked when we only had one or two (VLP) but as soon as the balance tipped and the solid pros became a minority and the likes of Billing became leaders of the squad outside of the pitch it went downhill quick.
Have no idea how bad it is with this lad but if he indeed has a bad attitude I hope the club know what they are doing this time.

Don't see any harm in taking a punt if he's free. If he does turn out to have a bad attitude, sure Carlos will get him out

Never seen him tear any teams apart but if there’s one thing we learnt from last Summer, it’s to trust the recruitment team. If he signs, then he has my backing. If his heads right, he could easily be £5m+ plus player again.

Don’t know a lot about him or his attitude, but if I remember him correctly he is really quick. That’s something we’re sorely lacking. If Carlos can get a tune out of him and he stays fit (got a feeling he gets injured a bit but that could be bollocks) it could be a really good signing.
