Right back isn't where our main problem is right now. Can he play left back, central midfield or as a striker?

Think it would be a great signing and open up different options with formations.

Looks a good player, did well at Swindon and then recalled and sent out to mk in January where also apparently did well.Played with both too regularly. From having a quick nosy(I don’t claim to know anything much) he looks to be more wing back,or certainly gives us the option of wing back on the right, turton very much full back and maybe spencer not up to speed yet, possibly needs a loan himself. Could allow us to go back to 3 at the back.

Will be happy with this. He's a good player. Remember seeing him at Swindon and held his own against Man City I thought.
I presume this will see Brodie Spencer heading out on loan.

Sounds like a particle accelerator or a telescope. Was gonna put something along the lines of "Isn't that what they're looking for at the Hadron collider?" I saw the pic before I saw the caption and at first thought we were signing Tyrone Mings on loan. Well he HAS been dropped

Apparently signing on loan today He's at Canalside atm and might train today. It's moved really quickly has this one. Looks good on the Swindon highlights but appreciate that's L2.

Right back isn't where our main problem is right now. Can he play left back, central midfield or as a striker? I agree RB isn't our main priority atm but it's an area of the pitch that needs addressing. If Turton gets injured we've got a very young, inexperienced RB in Spencer. He definitely looks like one for the future but he's only just turned 18 so to chuck him in to a team that's clearly struggling isn't a wise idea. This lad is nearly 2 years ahead in development & has made 40 senior appearances.

Its more than just a right back though, he enables us to play a 5 a lot more comfortably which addresses other problem areas of the pitch.

Good player, but not one i thought we urgently needed unless Sorba is off or we are switching to 3 at the back.

Competition for the RB berth, or can play at wing back & Turton can tuck in on the right of a back 3. Hopefully Spencer will go out on loan - although we have a few youngsters that I fear will stagnate this season if we don't find somewhere for them - not just Spencer.
I can see the logic in this. And TBF if he can get forward from the back to the front that might alleviate one of the problems we have in the centre of midfield.

Right back isn't where our main problem is right now. Can he play left back, central midfield or as a striker? If you play with a back 4 then your full backs need to be really strong - ours are weak. Turton's improved since he started with us but is 'adequare' at best - Ruffles is not a left back and never has been. The back ups are kids. If Nakayama can do left back and we get this lad in then that might help shore up a really vulnerable looking defence. Playing 4 at the back was madness with our fullbacks when the season started - especially with a midfield 2 of Hogg and Russell. It still is but 2 quality defenders at fullback will help.

Would definitely take Neil critchley as manager with him, wonder if Gerrard gets booted if he follows too. Be a good appointment for our league 1 budget did a great job with blackpool

At least it won't take weeks for this lad to get to know our system, simply because we haven't fuckin' got one.

Will be interesting to see how they set up with him. It could see Russell getting dropped if we go 3-4-3
Nichols
Yuta Lees REG (or Turton)
Kesler-Hayden Ruffels Hogg Rudoni (or Russell)
Thomas Tino
Ward
Not sure were this signing leaves Aaron Rowe - who for me would be best playing as a Right Wing back. I guess Rowe needs a load ASAP

Apparently signing on loan today Neil Warnock gave Town the nod to get the lad in. He’s the new manager, or so you said.
