Isn't this thread about a left back? Not more about Dean and whether or not he's a good owner?

Isn't this thread about a left back? Not more about Dean and whether or not he's a good owner? The OP started a thread about a left back(s). 3 pages later and you're surprised the topic of conversation has gone off on a tangent? It's a forum. Do you hold conversations with people in real life and suggest people should stay on topic?

Isn't this thread about a left back? Not more about Dean and whether or not he's a good owner? I see you are new here. As a general rule, the thread title gives you a good indication of the content of the first 3 or 4 posts, but after that it could be anything. If the topic still relates to the title by page 2, that's unusual. You get used to it in time, and eventually grow to love it.

Despite the welcome signings today, the absence of a capable left (wing?) back surely remains our biggest priority. There have been vague references to a loan from Liverpool, but can we really expect a further arrival today?

I'm well aware that Yuta does indeed play left back for Japan. I am capable of reading. The point I'm failing to make is that he is, I'd thought, a defensive full back by nature, rather than an attacking one

Much as i would like a left back i think we can cover it with what we have rather us bring in a strong central midfielder need to gain a control in games.

Not sure I buy into the theory we need a central midfielder. With Kasumu back this week, we have Kasumu, Rudoni, Hogg, Russell and Camara available for 2 positions. Tino can also play there. If we get to January and Russell is still out of form and Kasumu has had another injury or 2 then we'd have to do something about it.

I’d rather have Yuta in a back 3. Him Mbete and Helik would be immense tbh. We need a player in for Ruffels as he’s the weak link

We need cover there for sure

We are a very soft touch and struggle to get any forward momentum Kasumu looks injury prone and still unproven yet we need a someone who breaks up the oppositions play and drives us forward.

Fair to say Yuta is going to be 1st choice LB. Personally I liked him at LCB but if there wasn't a LWB available that was as good as Frank Spencer's catchphrase is at CB then it makes some sense.
