How is this on Schofield. We've missed huge chances. We should be winning never mind drawing. So easy to just say sack him. How about players stop making so many individual errors at both ends. it’s the same players that Carlos had? Hardly blame it on individual errors. They played brilliantly last season because they had a coach who was full of self belief and who was a genius. Danny’s isn’t and everyone suffers.. he has to go. INVEST DEAN!! |

Hopefully we will sign two defenders and our defence should look a little better, that may give our midfielders some confidence to play and pass a little better.
We need to be fitter though.

So no doubt I’ll get murdered for defending this team against the unrelenting negativity on here, but in my humble opinion we have been the better team tonight, have hit the bar twice and have looked better in possession than City. We have been outdone by a cross in the box again and must address this before the window ends, and conceding a 2nd after hitting the post at the other end. Schofield made the right substitutions at the right time but will no drought get slaughtered because we’ve lost again. We are 6 games in with a lot of new players and a new coach and some patience is surely required. We will play worse than this tonight and win. Keep the faith or go do one ffs

Town played well in bits tonight going forward, it’s the back we need fixing pronto. Finishing needs to be a lot better too.
We have a team here and if we add who are rumoured, we should easily stay up. I do think DS is not the answer though, needs a man in to shake these up properly.

Needs to go for me if another loss against blackpool. Had the odd chance tonight but we look like we have 0 game plan. Weak all over the pitch, defensively & up top, not sure if their keep has had owt to do tonight. Very worrying if nothing changes im afraid.

And they're making individual errors. Another mistake from Nicholls for the 2nd, Lees misses a sitter from a corner, Turton and Holmes miss huge chances. Last game Rhodes misses a header he'd normally bury, a big chance at the back post from the corner missed. It isn't the coach doing that. |

Something is lacking, you can say players are out of form, but so many? They are lacking direction and our usual pitch leaders like Hogg, Lees and Nicholls look shadows of last season.
You have to put it down to the coach, sorry, but I don't see much improvement to keep backing DS.

Midfield is a huge issue, need a midfielder in tomorrow who can grab hold of a game and control it for us. We look a very poor side, we have odd moments in games but we never sustain pressure on a side and rely on us being clinical. Hopefully we can bring 3 or 4 in tomorrow.
