Only seen brief highlights so I can't comment on the whole game but we don't half make things hard for ourselves. Poor defending at one end and some excellent (missed) chances at the other, recipe for disaster. Awful, lazy attempt to stop the cross coming in for the first goal, got to do better than that.

Let's be honest the football wasn't too good last season, just a lot more confidence (which comes from winning) and lots of luck.
We deserved at least a draw last night -played the usual frustrating defensive football we played under Carlos in the first half and were the better side in the second until we conceded the second goal.
Hitting the post and them scoring 10 seconds later - fine margins.

Although some did point it out but apparently the opposition missing some gobbers and having many more attempts than us was part of a 'plan'? Had stoke, coventry, swansea at home gone with the better team who had many, many more chances than us and bossed virtually the whole game then that might have 'dented' the confident unbeaten run etc.. This might have been coming. |

I got loads of abuse on here. I was right, they are wrong. Danny is way out of his depth. Has to be gone if we lose tonight. He is not ready to learn and manage in the Championship. Opinion. Edited that for ya Dunc. Even though I agree, it's still your opinion, not a fact. |

Just watched the extended highlights and we've had a few decent chances but if it wasn't for Nicholls that would have been a convincing defeat.

How is Turton a Professional footballer? Half hearted effort to stop the cross going in for Nakhi and his gobber effort was Primary school level. No footballing ability whatsoever. Ever thought of being a motivational coach? I wouldn't. Agree the chance was a bad miss and probably.coukd have done more with the cross but 'how is Turton a professional footballers?  . Fuck me it doesn't take long for.people to turn solid performers into scapegoats does it Non league player, lacks basic skills and not much ability. |
