If a new manager came in, I'm sure dean would say Danny has to stay on the coaching team in some capacity Yep! So he should. It is not his fault at all This thread shouldn’t be about sacking him. Not having that at all. He’s been dealt a twat hand. Get a manager move him to coaching he won’t moan at all. He’s took this off pride. He probably knows he’s not ready and we’ll now he does. Shouldn’t be about sacking him, blokes done fuck all wrong. He does make bad tactical choices but he should not have been put in this position

As we would say up here in Scotland... his coat is on a shuggly peg! Shoogly. Ah! That's the Western Isles spelling... in the Highlands west of Inverness it's "shuggly".

I'd be about 40-60 against getting rid now, I think a firm warning and ultimatum after today that if we haven't clearly turned a corner after 10 games he gets sacked. 5 points plus and better on pitch organisation needed. I'd be putting out feelers for replacements now if I wasn't already.

Basics. Put down your fit players in their best position. Then fill the gaps as best as you can. And stop playing hoggy as sweeper. Ffs. And introduce fines, huge fines when a player turns backwards instead of turning forward. Such negative shite is doing my head in Russell is the worst offender for the backwards shite. Apart from Rudoni, today we were a team either under hitting or over hitting passes. Or the worst crime of all, players not being ready to receive the ball. Shambolic.

DS will never succeed as a manager at this level in the same way Anthony Joshua will never be a top boxer. You need charisma/something about you to get the players going and in turn the fans.
Whether that be the all out passion of Wagner or the almost eccentricity on Corberan there has to be that something. Whilst he may be a nice guy he does not have the something to be a manager at this level. To compile this he is tactically lacking and game by game making more bizarre decisions. Great coach maybe, a manager no. They are two very different things

Dean created the problem. He should have said interim whilst they looked or at least saw how Danny did. Hoyle doesn't deserve all the blame for this, it was a plan put in place by Bromby. We are just carrying on from what was put in place under PH It was working under PH

A calamity of errors in the set up imo. A right back at LCB, the knock on effect of which we then have Lees at RCB, behind someone playing as an attacking wing back, which means Lees is then constantly in the right back spot looking thoroughly uncomfortable. Surely they are the wrong way round, Lees should be behind Nakayama who doesn’t go forward as much, therefore Lees isn’t dragged out wide and isolated? Whereas Turton would be comfortable about there.
Then Hogg goes off injured. What is the point in Helik being in the bench if we’re then apparently bringing on a left back to play LCB, whilst someone who looks very much a defender to me in Nakayama carries on at LWB. Surely either Helik comes on in a straight swap for Hogg or Nakayama and Ruffels swap?
Then bringing Rhodes on to replace Ward instead of with, given the state of the game…
His heads fried imo. Overthinking and over complicating things.

Corberan when he went through a bad spell had the fall back of having a good start when he first got the job and showed that he could at least get the points to give him a few extra games that some others might not get. Giving him 4 more games just gives the next manager 4 less to get the points required to stay up. I guess in 4 games time Steve Cooper may be available, and he may have to perform similar heroics to what he did last season.

I’ve only seen us play three times this season. Burnley, Bristol and Blackpool. I thought we looked to be improving against Bristol but my god today was awful. We look shaky at the back, ponderous in the middle and toothless up front. It’s mean to be an entertainment business yet that was like having someone sticking needles in your eyes. Clear we have no idea how to play, zero identity. After 8 games, 6 defeats, the experiment must be ended now. I hope Danny gets chance to have his old job back and one day gets chance to cut his teeth as a manager at a lower level. This job is just far too big for him. Time for change Opinions eh! I came away today feeling like we’d turned a corner to an extent and played better. I felt like after a shaky start we started passing the ball better and created some decent chances. I thought Thomas had his best game this season (until he switched to the right), that Russell looked more like last season (not as good yet) and that their main threats came from our mistakes such as Hogg/Nicholls passing it straight to them. Far from perfect, obviously, but we seemed a bit better overall. I think the stats, possession, shots on target etc back that up. Plus the goal which wasn’t given.

Taking a striker off with 10 minutes to go and still playing one up front was the final straw for me. We haven’t played well in any games this season and now he’s showing signs of desperation. Turton at LB, Sorba LW, Hogg at centre half when we’ve signed 4 centre halves in the summer. Either he doesn’t rate the players he’s been given or he’s signed them and they’re not good enough. Either way it’s time for a change. Not sure how Ward lasted that long to be honest, he was fucking shite. Spent most of the game standing offside taking himself completely out of the game. Sorba actually played well in the first half on the left and then got absolutely nothing out of their number 23 when he switched to the right hand side. Turton actually played quite well at left sided centre half, but Nakayama wasn't very good at wing-back. Anjorin and Russell were useless and still look unfit. I'd still replace Schofield even if it reads like I've slightly defended him. He has yet to make a change at half time in any game this season, which is criminal with how the games have gone and the fact you can make 5 substitutions. Especially as half-time doesn't count as one of your 3 substitution times in the game.

Hopefully we replace him and bring him back into the youth set-up, but he's just not right for the first team right now, we need a change. feel for him fuck him he's playing players out of position ffs bloke was an average player he's a shit manager fuck him off now if i was as shit at my job I'd be fired immediately. I think he deserves a game or two with Mbete and Helik in the team. It’s clear that the selections are due to him making the best of what he has got and I don’t think the likes of Ruffels are up to scratch. LM and MH could shake up the starting 11

LM and MH could shake up the starting 11 They might improve the defence slightly but there are no discernible patterns of play which are why we look toothless going forwards and constantly give the ball away in our own half. Two centre halves won’t fix that problem. A new manager would.

He seems to like leaving it until 55-60 minutes for some reason, but nothing has improved since half time when he’s left it! He sets us up all wrong. Players in the wrong position, we’re for and his changes don’t make any sense. Time for him to go unfortunately.

If we had any ambition we should have approached Sean Dyche. Unfortunately little old Huddersfield lack the necessary ambition and we should accept that we can't compete financially with teams like Rotherham, Wigan and Blackpool.

Sorry but he has to go immediately. Not his fault, he shouldn't have been given the job in the first place. Cheap option that has backfired spectacularly. The new coach will have an international break coming soon to get the basics across then a full month to drill them when the world cup is on.

I’d have no problem at all sacking Schofield- no matter whose fault it is, this is simply not working and he’s out of his depth- another Jan Siewert. My biggest reservation is that I have no confidence in Dean Hoyle’s ability to bring in a suitable replacement especially when his default position is cheap as possible.

If he had any involvement in game plans under CC, it's not showing at all. But the evidence on the pitch now, and anecdotally at the time, was that CC and Alarcón did the game plans. This type of planning created a situation where the club would fuck itself in one of two ways. 1. Interfere in Carlos's process by forcibly involving Schofield in game planning to prepare him to step up in the future, but risking making him unhappy and resigning. 2. Having a planned successor who hasn't been prepared properly for his future job. Being Town we picked the absolute worst case scenario that combined the worst parts of both options. That's not Schofield's fault, and he should feel aggrieved about it.

He is possibly one my favourite players.. do I don’t get this I feel for him nonsense… whatever the thoughts are on the squad, he isn’t even close to getting a tune out them and I was hoping that we wouldn’t get an equaliser with my thought process is that the sooner we change the sooner we will pick up points and a draw today (coupled with the controversy) may further prevent the inevitable.

I dont get why there is sympathy and no blame from some for DS. He took the job knowing exactly what he was getting. No one put a gun to his head and said you have to be the manager. He knew he was taking over a team that finished 3rd and got into the playoff final, therefore he knew the expectations would be high and he wouldnt be given long if we started badly. Anyone with a shred of decency and self respect, would have walked after 4 or 5 games playing that badly. How can he even look himself in the mirror knowing he is taking us closer and closer to the drop with each game. Someone must surely be telling him how abysmal and amateurish we look if he is too arrogant to see it himself. he clearly thinks from his interview after the game that he can turn it around. Ex player or not, I dont care, he needs to be shown the door, its a championship football club he is managing, not a kids fucking paddle pool.

Following my previous post, the fact of playing for Huddersfield Town alone will not get many of the players going in the same way it would for many of us given the opportunity. Thats fair, would I be buzzing to play for Cardiff or Derby, I would beed an leader who would inspire me to get that buzz I would naturally get at town. Schofield has never and will never be that guy. I can imagine training sessions under wagner/corberan were almost a “what the **** will he come up with today” whereas Schofields interviews bore me senseless never mind having go work with him day in day out. Nice guy, not a manager. If we can see this so can the club
