I know at the evening with NW event at the town hall, he made a couple of negative comments about players; one comment was one player didn’t take any notice of him in the first team meeting he did. The other was the poor running statistics of one of the players.
Speculation on the evening and on here at the time was that it was Camara/Knockeart.
No heart/worker/buy-in player was going to be wanted by NW - so goodbye…

If we were one of the best teams in the league then I think he would be a massive loss but because we aren't he's probably not suited to us this season and because he only has a year left then there isn't much option but to sell. He's also going to a side that finished midtable in Serie A last season so I don't think there can be many complaints all round.

I appreciate NW likes to put out these comments and take them with the pinch of salt in which they were said, but the order I put the comments in wasn’t assigning the particular issue with the particular player. It may or may not be one player, two separate players or none of the ones that were speculated on. But we as fans do like to jump to conclusions 😉… |

Even with just 12 months left on his contract. I think Udinese/Watford have got a reet bargain. That said, I heard a lot of rumblings about him not wanting to be here and Mr Nagle has just confirmed it so we move on. |

Schofield established him in the 1st team and played him in 5 of his 8 games. Fotheringham carried that on and played him in 12 of his 22 games ( he had an injury ruling him out of many / all of the others) Warnock didnt even put him on the bench most matches and played him in 3 of his 15 games. But its because of Fotheringham he wanted to leave?? |

But isn't that part of a footballer's job nowadays? Doing selfies and autographs? In fact, haven't players always posed for photos with fans of all ages going back over 50 plus years? I've got the autographs of the entire 79/80 Promotion winning side. I'm pretty sure Camara got more playing time under Buzz than under Warnock and certainly his better performances were under Buzz. |
