agree if he has gone quite who can blame him with some so called fans in to him!! You do realise every single club has "so called fans' who give players and officials stick ? Yup. I just like to call folk plant pots. |

I’m sure some on here were up in arms when a certain person said similar things… 😉 Anyway, not a lot you can do if the will isn’t there. Good luck to the lad, maybe the UK wasn’t for him? We've got NO idea who KN is referring to, or if he's even referring to any specific example rather than just stating his general philosophy. KN was referring to Camara 100% |

i dont get the love in with camera,wasnt first choice.wasnt very good and didnt want to play for us,im glad hes gone,rubbish if you ask me

Neil Warnock, " I had a conversation with (Camara) about how he has got all the ability in the world: he has the stature, the touch but does he want to pick up an average wage for the rest of his life or does he want to be something really good? He could be something really good but it is all between his ears. It is not going to be me or anybody else that will decide that; it will be between his ears. I have seen that a lot of times over my career. Sometimes you win and they become really good players and sometimes they end up playing non league. Let's hope it is a good result this time." A month later and Camara is a footballer in the top flight and presumably no longer picking up an "average wage". Looks like he's got plenty between his ears!! |

Could end up at Watford this season with the Udinese tie up - happens often in that dodgy situation. Well maybe but in recent years we’ve tended to get players they don’t want rather than new signings made by them . |

Plays the easy ball to the man 5 yards away from him. That is down to inexperience. People think he will sell for millions. Personally, this will be his biggest fee. |

Got to say I don’t think we’ll miss him. Too pedestrian for me and certainly not a Warnock player. Billing aside, how many young players have we shown the door over the last 20 years who have actually gone on to bigger and better things? Camara will just be the latest.

Who knows???
A different situation to Bellingham, but I’d imagine most Brum supporters would have acknowledged that a talent like that was too big for their club to hold on to and resist the badgering they would have been getting.
If this lad does go on to become a standout player, I’m happy with the fact that we would never have held on to him anyway.
That’s not me with a small club mindset, that’s modern football.

Of course there are jobs where qualifications are needed, but if you’re good at your job but a massive arse, I can almost guarantee that you’ll have quite a lonely career… Worked with quite a few of these people over the yrs, and as good as they were, I was glad to see the back of them after the Project. |

On "attitude"
I've never had the feeling he was likely to become a "massive arse" or a "loose cannon".
I suspect it's more the case that he's a placid, laid back kid around whom question marks still exist as to whether he has the killer instinct required to force himself to the very top echelons of his profession. That's what Warnock was getting at when he checked himself in that interview, and it's why he loved it so much when he came away from the Birmingham game with "blood on his face".

I think the lad and probably more importantly his advisors had decided he wasn't signing a new deal with us a while ago, he was always leaving. Based off the circumstances I think we've done very well to get that money for him.
I think he'll be a decent player possibly at a decent level in Italy/Spain/France but he isn't going to be a star we look at and say 'we had him'.

Great prospect, good luck to Etienne Camara, pity we didn't sell when the likes of Leicester etc, were evidently showing interest January 2023. Will watch his development with interest - UTT. |

Camara HAS left us to a bigger and better thing 🤷🏻 Time will tell. Udinese are a mid-table Serie A club but it remains to be seen how many games he’ll start or appear in for them. I just didn’t see anything whilst he was with us that would suggest he’ll do much. I accept though it appeared Warnock didn’t fancy him, least in the position we were in when he arrived, and the 2 before were clueless so I have every sympathy for him. |
