Problem I feel with Town is we can take a touch and pass, looking ok under little pressure or when the opposition is in the lead and prepared to sit back but we just have zero flair and players like their right back who can make something out of nothing and create danger.
That is why we rely so much on set pieces. Pleased we are scoring from them again and hopefully the return of Tino or Jones can add some final third creativity

Apart from some shit defending I am quite encouraged by tonight so far. The commitment is there let see how we do against easier teams. If there are any I’m trying to be positive but I just don’t see it, we’ve scored from an own goal and a dubious penalty - I see is a unorganised mess with no responsibility or cohesion playing to a style of play or system. The fact that our captain isn’t playing yet should be playing is worrying in itself. A poster on another thread hinted at it. We look all over the place. |

I know this may come back to bite me in the arse, but I've been impressed by Sorba's attitude tonight. Much better and quite vocal instead of the sulky version from earlier in the season.

Take Mbete out of the equation first half and they've had very few opputunties.....we've controlled the ball pretty well and are worth a point at this stage

We look good on the ball in the middle part of the pitch, the lack of pace or power up front makes us pretty toothless. When Mbete is throwing them in at the back it makes it tough.
Strong defenders don’t have too much to fear in open play and that’s an Achilles heel.
