Hope we fooking do em in. A bit of that physicality from the opening exchanges against Reading to let them know we're here. Then hopefully the extra time bedding in to Fozzy's training regime will bring a better performance.
Last game I said I wouldn't mind an encouraging defeat. Now I wouldn't love anything more than a shithouse win that winds up Nathan Gnomes and gets us on track

Unfortunately you don’t look at many of our players and think ‘I bet he can dish it out’. Hogg and the two centre backs, that’s about it. Russell has the build for it, but certainly hasn’t been using it this season Overall we’re a pretty lightweight squad. A few times in the first half at Reading they developed promising attacks by just pushing the ball past our midfielders and shouldering them out of the way.

Tino out with glandular fever, out for a while 🙄 That sounds ominous Depends how long he has had it and recovery time, which can vary considerably. Just a wait and see on that but it does hit you pretty hard.

Luton will be looking for revenge from the playoffs, their manager, fans and players will all be bang up for it. They had a sloppy start to the season but are now looking in decent form and position in the table. I think they'll cruise to victory. They are a good side. I can't see this being comfortable viewing. They'll want to stick the boot in.

I feel MF wants us to be a Luton-type team. Up and at 'em, high intensity, more direct and early balls into the box. We're currently miles off that and Luton are experts at it - so only one outcome I reckon. If that’s what he wants to play then why the fuck did we hire him? I thought it was all about having a similar style and identity, and not changing everything whenever the manager changes? If we just got an angry Scottish man to play non-league hoofball then it pisses all over the supposed pathway, identity and style Bromby and Hoyle have been talking about for the last few years.

Every game is tough in this division, regardless of your form or where you are in the table.
Hopefully the new bloke has learnt enough from Saturday to make sure they have some fire in their bellies...
Really need a point at least from this, plus a promising performance...

Would take that over pissing about with it. When played properly, can be effective.

Fair point….the continuity seemed to be a key element of the Bromby plan but that seemed to go out the window with DS…..pretty sure MMF won’t just be going for hoofball (I hope!!) but how long will it take to get the team playing his style?…..

We need a leader in the back line tonight, if you see a mismatch at a corner then say something, if the full back goes wandering out of position then drag him back, if the young lad is dithering on the ball scream at him to launch it (Sinnott style), doesn't matter what formation we play if we can't eradicate simple errors......0-0 with 15/10 to play, who knows we could nick it.

I’m not sure i care anymore. But for what it’s worth I’d go with
Nichols Helik Lees Yuta Turton Kasumu Hogg Rudoni Jackson Rhodes Ward
Bilo. Mbete. Sorba. Camara. Holmes. Mahoney. Plus anyone else willing to take a bucket load of crap from fans.

I don’t have SKY so will pay £10 for iFollow. I don’t know if I ever go to a Town game feeling confident so this will just be the norm. We could get stomped and we could get stuck in and give them a tough game. I think winning is probably a big ask but as this is Town I would not write it off as a possibility.

I won’t be there so that increases the chance of a Town win enormously.

We need to see an improvement in attitude, shape, commitment, teamwork, spirit and performance. If we do that but still lose fair enough. Anything less builds the pressure.
This run of games to the World Cup break is critical for the rest of the season. We have to start picking up points
