Russell deservedly dropped out of the squad entirely, not even injured. Camara deservedly returns. Rudoni and Nakayama have been off the boil for a while. Not confident in Mbete though. Good luck to Ben Jackson. I seem to remember Carlos also took a liking to him early on in his tenure.

Not sure how Mbete gets a start. Nakayama and Russell (thankfully) not involved at all. No Anjorin or Rudoni. Not much creativity in there Anjorin has had glandular fever I believe. His creativity might be down a bit? Yes, knew he was ill |

I hope this bloke knows something I don't. I cannot understand a presumably back 3 with Mbete playing on the same side as Jackson, against a very physical side with know how of the dark arts. Couple that with what looks like Thomas as RWB & it just screams that the defence will be over-run.
Please prove me wrong MF, I'd love to be eating humble pie after seeing this line up.

Is this the first time we've started with both Rhodes and Ward since they returned? The first time we've started with two up top since Rhodes and Novak? It could well be. Maybe Vaughan and Beckford aside

Looks to me like he's throwing tonights game and letting some rest before Hull There isn’t a chance we’re throwing games 2 games into his reign when we’re pretty much rock bottom of the table and if he is he’s a bigger idiot than I’d put him down to be. |

The other problem we have is if we are playing both Rhodes & Ward at the same time, there's no plan B up front & you can guarantee that one of them will be injured before the world cup break, due to the number of games being played in this period.
