We kick towards our home 'end' second half. Blame the stadium designers for not giving us a proper end. Single tier no boxes, its not that hard. The team could still choose to kick towards the South Stand for the second half if they win the toss. But that would be attacking the away fans..

Don't know if it's already been mentioned but why do we always seem to kick towards the North Stand in the second half? Surely the best atmospheres are generated when any team is playing towards their most vocal supporters in the second half? Not towards a totally empty lower tier. I realise we can't do anything about it if we lose the toss as the away team will always try to play towards their own fans in the second half but we can't have lost the toss every home match this season, can we? Or maybe we have? The reason we (CL14) were given we have enquired about this is due to the Sun. As it comes round, especially over winter it can get quite low so effects the vision of the keepers in the second half (depending on Kick Off times, obviously) so thats they set up like that, and once it started that way it has just stuck. I know the home dressing room in on the North Side too, so the team lines up naturally on that side, however we use the dug out on the South side of the halfway line so that doesnt really matter. We'd love the team to attack the South Stand second half. I also think it would help build the atmosphere having the team warm up in front of that end, especially when they do that running stuff right on the touchline as they are close to the fans so it would gee them up. Maybe we can try raise it with our contacts at the club and see if we can change it.

Move them to the other side, I’d say. Makes sense about the sun but on balance, I’d prefer us to attack the South end in the 2nd half.

My conspiracy theory based on absolutely nothing is that they want to play towards their friends and family sitting in the central bar area in the middle of the North Stand in the second half. As I say, it's based on nothing. I'm not even sure if that's where they sit but for some reason I seem to think they do. At one point they used to pull the blinds down in there but not sure they do now? Anyway, it's the only reason I can think of for the team to choose to kick towards an empty lower tier in the second half if they have won the toss and there's no sun. I must admit, I find it baffling. It would be like winning the toss at Rotherham on Saturday and choosing to kick away from the Town fans behind the goal in the second half. Anyway, I'll stop going on about it now :-)

What was the fuss about everyone hating Bradford today, seemed to be aim at the south end of the Kilner Some pillock decided it'd be a laugh to come and sit in that area, openly and completely unashamedly wearing a Chickens top. Fuck knows what his motivation was, but he was escorted out of the ground once the stewards were made aware of his presence.

I dare him to wear a Celtic Hoops top in The Copeland Road stand at Ibrox home of Rangers FC or a Gers top in amongst The Green Brigade in the middle of their standing rail terracing at Parkhead home of The Hoops... I doubt he’d see a Bradford game in a hurry and if he did it’d likely be from a wheelchair !

Fuck knows what his motivation was, but he was escorted out of the ground once the stewards were made aware of his presence. Its an interesting one, and the right decision was made, what with the way he was milking the attention, he probably wasn't too far away from getting a bit of more physical attention. I *suspect* he's someone who 'supports' Bradford but watches Town with his mates (which is perfectly fine)...and he was egged on to wear his Bradford shirt 'cause it looks like Hull. BUT - are we saying that you can't turn up to a Town match wearing a Barcelona, Argentina, Wales or Emley football shirt, all of which I've seen at Town matches (except for the Emley one). What about other sports, is it ok to wear a Leeds Rhino's or Batley Bulldogs top? Or an LA Lakers jacket, or a Drighlinghton Dynamo's hoodie? Presumably the answer is yes, because they're inconsequential. I reckon lower league shirts (like Bradford) are perfectly acceptable - they're about as inconsequential to Town fans as being representative of another sport as above...if an FC Halifax fan wants to come along and take in a higher quality (!) game, broadly supporting the home team, whilst also wearing a Halifax shirt, is anyone bothered?

Wasn’t it the case that the lad in the Bradford shirt had done the Sinnott walk and been invited along? If so, fair enough and shame on those reacting to it.

Pitch is wrong way round...Leeds Rd of course knew where East was...and West !
Joking aside...that Lower tier at the FM stand is a joke now. No one is in it, no one wants to go in it..the roof doesn't protect you and of course the westerly winds/rain are right in your face.
What can be done, apart from nothing ..and just putting large advertising sheets over the seats ?
Well, maybe take away the seats and design an enclosed facility..private boxes, lounge, bar area for regular fans ? Would it look daft...? There must be something that's possible..do any other stadiums have a problem like this ?

I dare if he'd have worn that shirt in other areas of the ground some may not have taken as kindly to it as the area he was in the Kilner and it could have been a different outcome for him.

Anyone who watches championship games live on sky at 12 will know its not just us. I seriously can't imagine ever watching a championship match on sky at 12 that didn't involve Town.

I usually watch the Saturday EFL match. Go down town etc. in the morning, do the gym, get back, have some lunch and watch it nodding off with the paper. Set off for Town match about 5 mins from the end.
