Ruffles says early news from Millers scan, injury might not be as bad as it looked. He actually says "hopefully the results...... It's a massive blow. Duff said a few times this system is only as good as the wing backs and now both first choice wingback are injured

Is Headley injured, or has he just dropped below Ruffles in the pecking order now?

Is Headley injured, or has he just dropped below Ruffles in the pecking order now? Dont rate Ruffels that highly but I much prefer him to Headley. Cant believe how poor that lad looks after such a promising start to his career.

Back to Ruffels and Turton at full back (can't really call them "wing backs") so we're going to be playing 5 defenders every week. Plus Hogg/Kasumu and any two of our useless strikers.
Puts alot of onus on the remaining two players (Kane and Wiles) to do all the creating/anything in the attacking third.

First team 11 players injured
GK - Nicholls RB - Sorenson CB - Pearson CB - Balker LB - Miller CM - Hodge CM - Evans STRK - Healey STRK - Ward
That's a staggering stat, 9 of the 11 we'd expect to start for us on the first week of the season out injured.
6 of the players we paid fees for in 2024 having long term injuries.
I think our "Injured" 11 would beat our "fit" 11.
You can't write being a town fan, the stats/stories are unbelievable in the last 5 years.
Surely can't stick with the 5-3-2 now that both wing backs are injured.
