Is there a thread solely on who is injured from the First Team (as a total) and when they are due back? Just so we can always quickly see the status?
Well. Sorry if there is, if not, let’s start one :
Pearson - due back sometime November? Turton - ? Lees - ? Nakayama - ? Hogg - ? Anjorin - due back sometime November? Jones - ? Simpson - due back sometime November
Amend / add as needed!
World Cup coming at the right time….

Not seen anything to suggest that Pearson or Anjorin will be back this month. In the past week Fotheringham has said "Matty Pearson has had the screw out of his foot, which was an important step.
"He's an important player in this group, a really great player and professional, but he won't be back in the near future."
"We're not likely to see Jonathan Hogg or Tino Anjorin any time soon,

Is Rowe injured or out of favour? No, I'm afraid he's just not very good if you're going by his recent performance.

The 2 lads on loan have to play on Saturday. I know Mbete has had a nightmare start but he’s obviously a good player.

Squad put together on the cheap gets loads of injuries then throwing academy players into a relegation battle.
Sounds like HTAFC to me.
MF obviously doesn't have faith in Boyle or Mbete which is why he put Ruffels in at LCB when Nakayama went off.
Spencer did pretty well at RB but it's a lot to ask him to do it twice a week. KKH looks to be frozen out.
If either Camara or Kasumu get injured, suspended or loose form then we only have Russell to play in midfield.
Our strikers are both out of form, both in their 30s with no back up options.
If Nicholls gets injured/suspended we only have Bilo from the academy.
We have no real creative spark in the final third without Tino, Rudoni works hard but he's got one assist to his name so far. Diarra will only get better but it's too much to ask him to come into a relegation battle & shine every week.
We now need Holmes & Sorba to add goals to their game, Rhodes & Ward to play themselves into form, Ruffels & Spencer to play well consistently & no more key injuries.
Big, big ask.

Seems like a good lad and looked quality a couple of years back One half-hour where he looked all right in the last 1 1/2 years. It is a shame. He'd really toughened up from his Premier League cameos and was the one bright spark in the second half of 20/21. We're having no luck with injuries whatsoever. For all the talk of lack of depth, any side would struggle with the senior players we have out. The World Cup break can't come soon enough. If we're still in touch we can make a fight of it. If we're not, we need to keep morale up so we're not embarrassed by the manner of the drop.

Tbf they've only just started playing Rudoni in his best position and the striker/s in front of him are so far off form he's got no one to give assists to.

Mbete has had a nightmare start here. But for people to question his ability is ridiculous. Pep is a huge fan of him. He has been a squad member of probably the best team in the world. Guarantee he goes on to a better career than any single player we currently have.

He might be like Paolo Maldini in his prime 5 years from now but his performances for us this season have been frighteningly poor. Based on how good he is now I doubt there's a side in the division below that wouldn't have a field day against him, let alone in the championship.

I have no idea why Mbete has been so shite for us but don’t get him confused with someone from Man City’s academy. This is a first team squad player, one that would have got minutes this season, i promise you.
There is no way City have let someone with just potential play in their pre season. He’s the real deal.

I would normally agree with the bit in bold, but you look at the size of those squads and wonder how much the main man will actually know about him, that he'll have gleaned personally & not from his reporting sources. I don't disagree that he'll probably have a better career than any we have at the moment, but again, that's a sad indictment of how the moneyed clubs can use that fiscal power to hoover up hundreds of kids. We've had some very decent loans at the level we're playing at right now, but not all of them have gone on to claim regular first team places at their parent clubs. I bloody hope there's a decent player in there though, we'll certainly need to use Mbete with the state of our injuries in defence.
