Seeing as his previous thread was locked The examiner via Nixon are reporting Ipswich are interested in him.

Makes sense. I actually thought he’d leave last summer and don’t know why it didn’t happen.

This may not be a bad thing for us. We need a complete reset up front and with Ward out of contract in the summer (don't offer him a new one for God's sake!), it gives room in the squad and hopefully budget to get 2 new ones in.

Ipswich could be replacing Town in the Championship at the end of this season. To leave a failing team now for a thriving team would be boost at his age.

What's the sketch with Jordan, I know we took him from Ipswich, but is that where his family are, is that where he ultimately wants to settle after football?
I presume people aren't expecting a fee if/when this happens?

Wiki reckons his dad was coach at the tractor boys, hence Jordan signing with them.

Wasn't his Dad a coach at the massive at one point as well?
Just read his wiki page actually. Born in Oldham but obviously moved around with his Dad, they landed in Ipswich in 2004 (he would have been around 14yo) where he was picked up by Ipswich.

Ironic that Ipswich should want Jordan now, when he's in the twilight of his career, rather than all those years ago when they decided he wasn't good enough.

Maybe after Tuesday Fothers has decided that we only need one JR to propel us to safety so Rhodes can go to Ipswich and Russell can faff about in the B team while he wrangles over his contract.

Wouldn’t imagine be a fee tbh.surely we would just ask them to pay up the remainder of his contract.

Hes done ok.. but not good enough for what we need. That would be my summary.
Apparently ( according to my neighbour who claims to have sources at the riverside ) Middlesbrough wanted him back in the summer but we refused ( maybe after his performance in our win up there late last season )
