Town are one of a number of clubs interested in the Lincoln City right back who can also play as as CB.

Said previously on here that I watch Lincoln when I can’t get to Town, as I live there and have mates with season tickets.
Poole is outstanding.
An excellent defender, who can do the basics (head it, kick it, smash someone), but has the ability to play out from the back as well.
Can play CB, RB or RWB, and used to play CDM, so he’s incredibly versatile.
He’s a decent age, too. He’s out of contract next summer, so it’s whether we’d want to stump up the money for someone we could get for free in 6/7 months time.
It’s down to him as well. Lincoln are 4 points off the play offs, we’re 4 points from safety. We’ll see how the table adjusts between now and January.
Would be a cracking signing, nevertheless.

Wasn't he a Man Utd academy product? Named in their squad in a few cup games?
Will probably be a promising player if so.

Toffolo is a more dynamic player and is a natural full back/wing back. In my opinion, Poole is a bonafide CB, who can do a 6/10 or 7/10 job at right back if needs be. As a result, difficult to directly compare the two as full backs! |

Also, depends what deals can be done. If this is a good deal at the right price it might be worthwhile. |
