In a midfield three alongside Kasumu/Camara and Hogg/another experienced midfielderI think he could come to form again . Unfortunately in a two he’s not mobile enough and there’s no shame in that at all .
Evidently not in Fotheringham’s plans but I do think a cheap sale will come back and bite us .

Ive seen people say he could work as a number 10 and id be curious to see it.
As others have said stick him next to Rudoni/Camara/Holmes/Kasumu in a 3 I think he could be very useful breaking down stubborn teams or starting counters with his pass quality.
But honestly wouldnt surprise me if he left on the cheap and turns into prime Pirlo

I'm sure Carlos will get a tune out of him again if he goes to West Brom.
Good luck to him.
MF obviously didn't fancy him, like he says, he tried him at Reading in his first game & he didn't perform. Instead of doing what a good coach would do & work with him to get him back to his performances of last season he chose to make an example of him & make him rot in the B team. Makes you wonder why he stuck with the rest of the players at Reading who were equally as bad?
Good luck Jon, I'm sure you'll go on to have a good career whilst MF sits on top of the failed manager scrap heap.
