Don’t want to go back through pages but at the very start of his injury saga/ issues one poster stated quite clearly that Hoggy would not play for Town again ,didn’t speculate on a reason but seemed convinced ,could it be correct.

yes he will and we will start passing along the back line and across midfield more to no avail Straight in when manbags were being waved about yesterday, looking after the lads, Go on Hoggy lad, your club needs you. 3 points. It didnt matter that Hong Kong Kasumu/edgar davids had got lucky after trying to chop their player in half.

Sky Sports just showing a replay of the Watford Leicester playoff semi-final.
The lung-busting run Hogg makes after 97 minutes to nod the ball back after the Leicester penalty miss is absolutely incredible.
What is even more incredible is that he left that team to join us.
A proper servant.

Watford also brought in Irney from Undinese . two completely different types of player, zola wanted someoen better on the ball to play the sitting role.

Like him or not, Town rely on Hogg. Roast him for a lack of pace, or acceleration, or creativity, but his commitment and will to win, are sow important to Town; there are quicker trotters in the squad, and he may not have the legs he used to, but he shoulders his defensive responsibilities He is a genuine bloke, there is no side to him. Snout wrong with having Hogg in this squad.

A modern club legend When we were relegated and really struggling I thought we should let him go for his own good. He was literally ruined by our implosion. But no matter what, you can never question his dedication and commitment. The improvement since he came back into the side is no coincidence. Just what the kids in our midfield needed.

My MoM tonight but I'm bias because I think he's one of the best players that's pulled on the blue & white stripes, fell in love with JH at Bolton away not long after he signed & watched thinking I'm glad he's on our team & thank god he still is........what a great start to his testimonial year it will for him by beating the 'Mad Hatters' on Sunday.

Huge respect for the guy - this situation is absolutely made for Hogg - you wouldn't want anyone else dragging us out of the shit. He'll be absolutely loving every minute of it.

Unlike some, I am always okay saying I was wrong,
In the early days of Hogg being here, I was not at all convinced. How wrong could I be!.
Up there with the best signings of my time watching Town. A great servant to the Club and an outstanding professional and role model.
I suspect that none of us know just how influential he is in the dressing room and at training. His presence I reckon gives the Team and Club something.
Simply has to stay at the club beyond his playing days.

He has made the difference since coming back.
He was leading the press in the first half and pushing on to help Rhodes at times. That forward pressing directly led to us winning the ball back for the first goal.
The pressing stopped once we went 2-0 up but I can’t blame the team for sitting in and making sure we kept a clean sheet.
Hogg doesn’t play incisive through balls or 40 yard diagonals. He also doesn’t shoot even when an opportunity presents itself but he is the heartbeat of the team and gives us control both with and without the ball.
