If Sorba has been sold we’ve really lost our minds. He’s been our one attacking outlet all season. Talking of minds if he is sold then the board truly have Simple Minds - talking of which didn’t a band called that sing “I promised you a miracle” - Which is exactly what HTAFC need today for their first win in Preston since before I was born... and probably also to now stay in The Championship sadly ! |

If Fotheringham is honest he would simply say the squad and availability of players is being made above my pay grade. Players are in talks with other clubs and players are being protected for possible moves. The squad is changing on me daily, Im working towards a settled team and tactics and I am being fucked over.
They wont sack me, they dont want to pay me up, whatever.
I might be a good manager but here its going to be hard to bleeding prove.
In all honesty I would not have played Sorba against a hard working, physical team like Preston anyway.
Kesler hayden might find it tough today along with some others.
The manager cares its his first job, some of the players care thats obvious, but the fuckwittery going on above shows a distinct lack of care.

Looks like Buzz is hoping for a 0-0 then there's zero attacking threat in that team. There's not even anyone to take set pieces. 'Wee Man Holmesy' will be hitting the first defender with every corner, unless Mahoney comes on and scores direct from one. It’ll be the only thing he does do if he does, never seen a more half arsed player in my life, another Bromby master stroke. Total waste of a wage. |

There's not even anyone to take set pieces. 5 defenders, 2 defensive minded midfielders with 3 attacking players that have one goal & one assist between them since Fotheringham came in (the goal was a penalty aswell) Setting up for a draw when you're cut adrift at the bottom of the league is shameful. |

Tbf MF adores Sobra, said that himself.
If they have fallen out i would be shocked, He really likes Sobra so why would they "fall out".
I am getting the feeling more and more that the team situation is actually way above MF, it wouldn't shock me at all to hear Bromby is telling him who is able to play and who is not.

He applied for a job, his history is fully documented, he had interviews and was given the job.?? Now if he cant even be sure if who can play today, or who is going to pull a sickie, or be 'mentally not right' to play, then its a fucking rearguard action every match day. May well have trained all week with camara, sorba and ward as starters today and then be told differently as the week goes on he cant.. Hard to blame a manager under these circumstances here at this time. Those who pull on the shirts and take their appearance money need to frame better, perhaps.? |

If you consistently have different players falling out with the boss, whatever you think of that player it says two things. One, the boss is the issue. Two, team morale must be pretty much zero.
Today, Fozzy has gone for experience over youth, probably the best card he can play in the circumstances. I live in hope.

PNE's current home record would suggest that they're a pretty dull team on their own patch, with not much creative initiative? Unable to break down equally dull teams? They have pretty much one of the worst home records in the division and have scored a meagre 7 goals?! In fact, on display this aft are the worst scoring teams (both home and away) in the league and the 3rd worst.
So, I wonder if we can "outdull" them, I mean just sit back and let them be confused about having so much possession, then when they get tired, hit them on the break.
Then again, it might just be a boxing day cracker......

The Sorba omission is possibly more to do with us having an offer for him. Dave Baldwin said we would look for a reset in January. If an agreement can be found to free up Tino's costs and Sorba gets sold it leaves money, and squad space, to bring in replacements.
I have no idea if that will happen but it seems a more likely explanation to me.
