Don't shoot the messenger but ... and it is only a rumour!!! Alex Lowry - attack minded midfielder and Ben Jackson could be doing a loan swap. Lowry is an Scottish u19 International that they want to get experience. Rangers fancy Ben Jackson to try before they buy and Fotheringham has expressed interest in his fellow Scot so a deal may come to be a deal that suits both clubs!

Makes sense why Jackson hasn't been playing since we started again, and not the first time it's been rumoured that Rangers are in for him. They must think we're easy marks after the Bacuna deal- no upfront fee but loads of appearance triggers, only to sell him on 6 months later!
I think it'd be a daft thing to do, what's the point in investing all the years in Jackson and Camara if we're just going to sell them within a couple of months of them being good enough for the first team?

This would be a very stupid move by town, Jackson should be our starting left back currently. He is hungry, has some pace about him and can put a decent cross in given a chance. Added to the fact he does not mind the physical side of the game and we have a good prospect here. He has also been known to be able to cover a few positions. Jackson should be one of the players we are looking to build a team around , if anything we should be looking at signing a new deal with town if possible.

It would be a great move (if Lowry is any good).

I understand the sentiment, but getting rid of Jackson is a bad bad idea, ad rather him play left back instead of Ruffels.

Ben Jackson is a good player for us and should be in at left back every day of the week over Ruffels. The two goals Ruffels scored will now mean he is undroppable which is bullshit. Jackson has way more goals in him.
If we let him go then we have gone to ratshit

As far as I’m aware, this is utter bullshit.
Beyond what I understand, I mean, if you sit down and think about it, why the fuck would Rangers/HTAFC do that?
They have Barisic returning from world cup duty and they recently spent a reported ~£5m for Yilmaz (who unfortunately got injured). There’s reports of Barisic going, but why the fuck would they not want to replace with a standard better when they are competing in Europe and need steadfast players? What’s more, they have Cilamataru who is a youngster gaining rave reviews. And what the fuck would that leave us in depth now that Yuta is injured?
Are we seriously thinking their ‘try before they buy’ would be Jackson training for four months? Because they aren’t playing him.

Barisic was made to look like mince meat by Celtic, BJ ain’t going to be good enough to face Celtic or European opponents, this would be a shocking move by BJ and by the club because he won’t play 1 minute. If he does, he won’t be good enough.
